Thanks for remembering, Fresh. It had slipped my mind. No prob. Reggie died during the time when the North Dakota state fair takes place. So when I hear someone mention going to the fair, I know the date is near. I am now older than Reggie Lewis ever was. Kind of weird thinking about that, since he was such a larger than life guy (like all the Celtics players) to me growing up.

I would also like to thank Fresh for remembering. I also grew up looking up to Reggie. He was already one of the top 2 guards in the league. If he had not been taken so young, i think he would have been one of the best guards to ever play for the Celtics. His jumper was a thing of beauty. You know, until this year and besides Paul Pierce, Reggie was the last great part of this team, the last thing we Celtic's fans could brag about. I think we should do something in Tribute of Reggie next year. Maybe Loy could make a new Reggie background for Celtic Green, or something. Any Ideas?
Thanks Reggie!!!

Thanks again FreshWipe. As I send this late. I could use a wipe.
Reggie will live in my mind, as long as my mind is fresh.

I remember being at my dad's house (my parents divorced when I was 12) when I read the news. I was devastated.

I was working a night shift job, listening to sports radio, when I heard about his passing. After work I took a black sharpie and placed #35 on one of my Celtic shirts. I still have that shirt and it brings back a lot of memories. Mostly of the good days we had with him. He's in a better place, I believe. Red might be lighting a stogy and shooting the breeze with him now...

Crazy, huh? I was just noticing that this was the fifth time I've posted a mentioning of Reggie's passing on this thread. Hard to believe that I've been on CG for over 5 years.

Hmmm... I would have thought you were here longer than that. Actually, it seems like CG has been around longer than 7 years.
