Beefy, you should have been here on draft day. We were all surprised that both Granger and Green were still available after Toronto made their selection at 16.
I really feel this is destiny. How can anyone script getting 2 cornerstone franchise players like Al Jefferson and Gerald Green with a 15th and an 18th pick? Since Ainge came aboard, good things have been happening. I really feel that a championship will come under his watch.

Gerald Green plays like Corey Maggette. I tried figuring out who he reminded me of. I know its not Tracy McGrady. Then it hit me--Corey Maggette. Excitingly athletic wing player with a live body who can shoot and attack the rim. Good footwork and very quick off the ground. And very smooth. Yep, he's closer to Maggette than McGrady.
But he looks like Cuba Gooding Jr. ;D

Amazing how Pitino could figure out a way of screwing up a draft w/ 2 lottery picks, and Danny picks 2 non-lotto picks who I believe will be franchise players. In Danny, I trust. ;D

Cuba Gooding Jr is the guy who starred in the movie, "Radio". He was also in that movie with Robert Dinero (sp?) about him wanting to be a Navy diver. And years ago, he acted in Boyz in the hood.
Gerald Green looks like him.

Boyz in the hood was one of my fav movies. Though, it had a sad ending w/ Ricky.
