I don't even think Frye will be Tony Battie good. They have the same kind of build, but at least Tony isnt a wuss. Frye doesnt seem to give a rip when hes out there. He'll need more than his modest natural talent to succeed at the NBA level.

The Warriors take Diogu. No, no, no!!! I thought he would have been one of the sliders who may have ended up with us. Good pick for the Warriors. He's a real warrior who I would have really enjoyed playing for us. He could make Troy Murphy expendable in a year or so, especially since Murphy is constantly injured.
Wow, Green continues to be available.
The Lakers are set to take next. I'm really thinking they'll go big. Look at all the championship teams Phil Jackson had with the Bulls. They had Luke Longly, Bill Wennington, Bill Cartwright, etc. He's not looking for a great big man (though he was blessed to have Shaq). All he wants is a big body who can rebound. I have them taking Vasquez.

One thing you gotta love about the NBA draft is the speed in which it moves. The NFL draft moves at a glacieral pace. By the time the Vikings get around to making a pick, Im usually passed out in a pile of tap beer mugs and half-eaten chicken wings.

And with the 10th pick, the Lakers take ................. Andrew Bynum. Well, I was right about the Lakers getting a big man. Just not the right guy. Bynum is a guy I can see filling that role for Phil Jackson. He's got size and could turn out to be better than Bill Cartwright I'm actually glad they took him. He's not a guy I was hoping to draft. With LA taking him, another solid player could slide to us. Still on the board: Granger, Graham, Green, Ukic, Jack, Simien, May, Wright, Korolev, Vasquez, Taft, etc. There's a good chance we land someone we want.

The Magic have the next pick at 11th. On my mock, I have them taking Danny Granger. Even with Gerald Green, Joey Graham, and Antoine Wright still being available, I feel they'll still take Granger.

Derren... I think you would make a better draft analyst than Jay Bilas. ;D ;D ;D I disagree with Jay Bilas so much. This guy picks guys like Channing Frye as his top 5 players in the draft. C'mon, how can he say that? I constantly shake my head when he says stuff like that.
