Making him work on the defensive end could help to get him into foul trouble.  vs  Perk needs to keep Dalembert off the boards as well as limiting his effectiveness in the paint. Honorable MentionKG vs Reggie Evans KG has a height advantage and should look to exploit that. Keys to the Game Take Care of the Ball The Celtics literally gave the game away against the Hornets by turning the ball over 20 times. The Celtics have to take care of the ball, avoid careless passes and focus on taking better care of the basketball. Defense The Celtics have built their record on their tough defense. The let down against the Hornets in the second half, allowing them to shoot 51% from the field and letting them get back in the game and win it. When they Celtics commit to defense they are very hard to beat. Play 48 Minutes The Celtics dominated the Hornets in the first half of their game, but let up in the second half. The Celtics need to get off to a quick start and play aggressively for 48 minutes. Rebound The Sixers have out rebounded their opponents in 8 of their last 10 games. The Celtics have to crash the boards and limit the Sixers second chance points. The Celtics are 29-5 at home and the Sixers are 15-20 on the road. Both teams are 8-2 in their last 10 games. The Celtics are coming off a tough loss to the Hornets while the Sixers are coming off a big win against the Nets. The Celtics are 12-1 against Atlantic division opponents while the Sixers aer 5-9 in their division. The Celtics are looking for their first sweep of the Sixers since the 1995-96 season. |

I have this weird feeling Leon Powe is gonna be a beast tonight. I think we destroy Philly after losing against an inferior Hornets team. No letdown here.

Perk controls the tip. RA hits a jumper from the top of the key. miller launches a 3 at the SC that doesn't hit the rim and SC violaion on Sixers. Rondo is doubled on the inbound and Perk gets it in to KG who gets it back to Rondo. KG hits a jumper. Pierce has been doubled and tripled every time down leaving KG and RA open. Evans hits a hook shot in the lane. RA misses a 3 and Sixers rebound. Rondo called for a foul as Miller misses a jumper. Miller hits both FTs. Rondo hits a jumper that rattles in and out and back in again. Evans misses a jumper Perk rebounds. Rondo spins around the defender and then hits Perk with a bounce pass as he is cutting down the lane for a layup. Sixers miss and KG rebounds. PP misses a 3. Green misses a 3 off the catch. KG rebounds. KG hits a jumper over Green with 2 on the SC. Dalembert hits a jumper. KG misses a turn around jumper with 4 on the SC. Sixers rebound. Iguodala gets inside for a dunk. Rondo takes it hard to the hoop but can't finish. Perk called for a foul on Miller. Miller hits 1 of 2. Celtics rebound. RA is fouled as he hits a fall away on the baseline. RA hits the FT. Dalembert misses a jumper and PP rebounds. Nice touch pass inside from Rondo to KG for a dunk. Miller hits a jumper. KG with a pass to a cutting Rondo who has the ball slapped away. Iguodala hits both FTs. Rondo pulls up and hits a jumper as they left him open. Sixers miss and Perk rebounds. Rondo misses a floater and KG keeps it alive and passes back to Rondo. Rondo callled for an offensive foul. Looked more like a foul against Rondo. That is his second foul so Sam comes in off the bench. RA cuts down the lane and lays it in. Evans misses a layup and Dalembert rebounds. Green loses it. Perk with a pass out to RA in the corner for a 3. Time out with Celtics up 22-15 and 3:26 left in the first

Sixers inbound on the side with 14 on the SC. Sixers miss a jumper. Perk chases down the rebound but steps out of bounds as he gets it. RA called for a foul inside. Dalembert at the line. Dalembert with a fake on the FT. line and the refs call a lane violation. Celtics inbound on the side. Sam gets into the paint and passes out to House in the corner who misses a jumper off the catch. Miller hits a jumper. Powe comes in for KG. Sixers deflect the ball out of bounds. Baby comes in for Perk. RA inbounds with 3 on the SC. He gets it to Powe who spins to the hoop for a dunk. Powe with great defense forces a turnover. RA misses a jumper rebound goes over the back board. RA called for his second foul. Tony comes in for Ray. Iguodala hits the first and misses the second. Tony rebounds. Davis back young down and spins in for a hook shot. Miller misses a jumper but Young is there for the rebound and put back. Powe hits a jumper in the lane over Dalembert. Young hits a jumper at the buzzer. Score at the end of one is Boston 28 and Philly 22

Sixers inbound to start the 2nd. Carney misses a runner in the lane and Powe rips down the rebound. House misses a jumper. Sixers rebound. Sixers turn it over. Sixers pressing in the back court. Celtics pass out of the trap. House misses a jumper. Baby grabs the rebounds. His shot attempt is blocked out of bounds and Baby flies into the crowd chasing the loose ball. Sixers inbound and Carney pulls up and hits a jumper. Tony's pass is picked off. Young gets the ball inside and dunks. Lead is down to 1. Cassell hits a jumper off the catch. Sixers miss and Sam comes out of the pack with the rebound. Sam loses the ball and commits a foul trying to get it back. They call it a break away foul. He hits both FTs. They inbound on the side. Sixers miss a jumper. Powe grabs the rebound. Baby misses a jumper on the baseline. Sixers rebound. Young gets fouled hard by both Baby and Tony. Time out with Celtics up 30-29 and 8:29 left in the half

The foul was called on Tony, his first. Sixers inbound on the side. House called for a foul. williams hits both FTs. Sixers take a 1 point lead. Tony misses a 3 at the SC. Sixers rebound. Iguodala misses a jumper. Baby rebounds. Powe catches a tough pass as he cuts to the hoop and lays it in. Iguodala misses a jumper. Foul is called on the rebound. Pierce comes in for House. Young hits the first and misses the second. Baby rebounds. Tony misses a dunk. Sixers rebound. Carney gets to the hoop for a dunk. Defensive 3 second violation on Sixers. KG comes in for Baby. Sam hits the FT. Celtics inbound with 14 on the SC. Powe drives to the hoop and is fouled. He hits both FTs to put the Celtics back up by 1. Sixers have it deflected out of bounds. PP steals the inbounds pass. Celtics miss and Sixers rebound. Dalembert called for a travel. Tony fumbles but recovers. PP takes it to the hoop and hands off to Powe who is fouled as he goes up for the dunk. Time out with Celtics up 35-34 and 5:50 left in the half

He hits the first and misses the second and gets his own rebound. KG hits a fall away jumper. Iguodala hits a jumper off the catch. KG hits a long jumper from just inside the arc. Iguodala muscles his way to the hoop and lays it in. Powe is alone under the hoop and gets a bullet pass inside from Pierce for a dunk. Time out with Celtics up 43-38 and 3:48 left in the half

Sixers inbound on the side. Sixers miss at the SC. Perk comes out of the pack with the rebound. RA takes it to the hoop and loses it out of bounds. Sixers miss and PP rebounds. PP hits a 3 as Rondo drives into the paint and kicks it ou. Miller lays it in. Perk catches RA's head with his elbow and Perk is holding his elbow and Ray is holding his head. Time out with Celtics up 46 -40 and 2:10 left in the half

Both are ok and coming back in the game. Sixers inbound the ball. Perk with a block and Celtics come away with it. RA misses and Sixers rebound. Iguodala gets the ball inside and lays it in and is fouled. He misses the FT and the long rebound comes out to Rondo. PP hits a 3 off a pass from Perk inside. Perk blocks Evans shot but he gets the ball back. Perk blocks him again but is called for a foul. The officials ignored an offensive foul by Evans right in front of them. He makes both FTs. Evans called for a foul. Pierce inbounds on the side. Rondo misses a jumper. Perk tips the rebound but Sixers come away with it. Iguodala with a dunk off the miss. Perk finds Pierce out beyond the arc for another 3. Sixers looking for the final shot. KG intercepts a pass from Evans to Dalembert inside. The refs call it goal tending. Horrible call. Celtics inbound with .5 on the SC. Celtics inbound but don't get a shot off. Doc was livid over that last call. Score at the half is Celtics 52 and Philly 48

Rondo's runner in the lane is no good and Sixers inbound. Miller called for palming. PP with a nice pass to Perk for a tomahawk dunk. Iguodala takes it to the hoop for a dunk Rondo's pass is picked off by Green. He takes it all the way to the hoop for a layup. Celtics turn the ball over. Celtics are getting sloppy just like they did in New Orleans. Pierce gets in the passing lane for a steal. Sixers called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. KG takes it to the hoop and is fouled. KG hits both FTs. Offensive foul on Evans. FINALLY he gets called for that. KG misses a jumper. Sixers rebound. Miller hits a flip shot on the baseline. RA misses a 3 from the corner. Sixers rebound and lose the ball out of bounds. Perk's fall away in the lane is short. Miller comes away with the rebound. Rondo with a steal. KG hits a jumper in the lane. Perk with a block on Dalembert's shot and 24 second violation. Great defense by Perk. PP hits a jumper from the FT line. Posey is not at the game tonight because of a personal matter. Sixers inbound on the baseline. Rondo with some pressure inthe back court. Sixers miss and Rondo tracks down the rebound. PP gets to the hoop and is fouled. He front rims both FTs. Sixers rebound. Green with an alley oop to Dalembert for a dunk. KG with a pass inside to Perk who has the ball stripped out of bounds. Celtics inbound with 7 on the SC. RA hits a jumper on the baseline off the catch. Iguodala misses from the corner. Dalembert called for a foul on the rebound. Pierce's pass is picked off and Miller takes it to the hoop for a layup. Evans is all over KG and they call him for the foul. KG at the line hits both FTs. Green loses it in the paint but a foul is called on Ray. Powe comes in for KG. Green hits both FTs. PP drives baseline and passes to Powe for a layup. Sixers miss and rebound is tipped around by Perk and then Powe but Sixers rebound. Foul called on Powe. Time out with Celtics up 66-62 and 2:51 left in the 3rd.

Iguodala misses and rebound goes out off Pierce. Cassell and House come in for Pierce and Rondo. Sixers inbound on the baseline. Iguodala passes to Young under the basket for a dunk. Perk finds tony underneath who misses the layup. He gets the rebound and misses again. Sixers rebound and score a the other end. House hits a 3 off the catch.
