If healthy, Rondo should be able to stay with Paul, but his sore back may be a factor.  vs  Kevin Garnett vs David West KG has a height advantage on West and should be able to get the step on him. He will need to slow down the Hornets' second leading scorer. Keys to the GameDefense: The Celtics must defend both inside and on the perimeter. Chandler and West are very tough in the paint and Paul and Chandler have combined for more than twice as many alley oops as anyone else in the league. They also have several players who are dangerous beyond the arc. Be Aggressive The Celtics have to be the aggressive on both ends of the court. They have to come out strong and not let up. The Celtics have to be aggressive on the boards and not allow the Hornets to get second chance points. They also have to be aggressive taking the ball to the hoop and hustling for loose balls. Move the Ball The Celtics have to continue to move without the ball and to make the extra pass to find the open man. When they dribble too much and stop the ball movement, they aren't nearly as effective. X-FactorFatigue vs Adrenaline The Celtics will be tired as they are playing the final game of a 5 game road trip and have expended a lot of effort in the other 4 games. Fatigue could be a factor. However, adrenaline may take over and give them a boost as they are playing the top team in the West and a win here would be big. |

I hope our streak do not over today, if we get this one we may end season under 15, we have only
one game with Hornets and one with Suns without Bell, we need to take it , I think we can finish
under 15 losses

Picking up with Celtics up 17-14. 5:50 left in the first PP drives to the hoop and draws the foul. Pierce hits both FTs. West takes it to the hoop and lays it in. Rondo takes it at Paul and lays it in. West misses and RA rebounds. Rondo takes it to the hoop and lays it in. NO misses Celtics rebound. PP hits a 3. Paul hits a jumper. Defensive 3 second violation on NO. RA hits the T. Celtics inbound with 14 on the SC. Rondo has it stripped. NO misses and RA rebounds. His pass up court goes out of bounds off Chandler. KG called for travelling. Peja hits a 3. PP passes to KG and gets it back and hits a straight away 3. Wells misses a jumper but they call it goal tending. Time out with Celtics up 30-23 and 2:14 left in the first

Powe in for KG. Rondo misses a jumper. Powe runs for it but Peja gets there first. Peja misses a jumper. Powe rebounds. Perk hits a left handed hook shot in the lane. Leon good defense on West. NO misses and Powe rebounds. Paul picks up his second foul as he hassles Rondo in the back court. Powe takes it to the hoop and has it blocked. Pierce is there for the follow. NO misses and PP grabs the rebound in traffic. PP hits a fall away jumper with 2 on the SC. Perk with a deflection to end the quarter. Score at the end of 1 is Boston 36 and New Orleans 23.

Celtics inbound to start the second. Brown called for a foul setting a screen. Powe called for a foul on West. Should have been an offensive foul. Not a good call. West misses and Brown rebounds. Pierce misses a 3 and Pargo runs down the rebound. Wells hits a 3 from the corner. PP misses a floater in the line. PJ misses the tip, NO comes away with the rebound. West misses an Alley Oop. Celtics rebound. Powe lays it in and is fouled. He hits the FT. Brown fouls Wells as he goes up for a dunk. Wells hits both FTs. Sam brings the ball up with Pargo defending. PP misses from the corner and NO rebounds. Sam called for a reach in foul. Wells takes the ball to the hoop and lays it in. Powe was in good position outside of the circle and they call the foul on him. Again, not a good call. Wells hits the FT. Possey misses a 3 and Brown is there for the rebound and hits a short jumper. Chandler tips in a Pargo miss. Powe banks it in off the glass. Ball deflected out and NO inbounds with 18 on the SC. KG back in for Powe. Posey with a steal. Sam throws it away. Pargo takes it to the hoop and lays it in. Posey misses over Chandler. NO rebounds. Brown with a steal. Ball deflected out by NO. Time out with Celtics up 43-38 and 5:57 left in the half

He front rims the first FT. Hits the second. Peterson hits a 3 from the corner. Rondo called for an offensive foul as he drives. Another questionable call. West misses and PP rebounds as Perk boxes out Chandler. PP drives to the hoop and draws the foul. He misses the first. hits the second. KG knocks the ball away from Paul. Hornets inbound on the side with 10 on the SC. Foul called on KG Technical foul called on Celtics bench. Peja hits the T. He hits both FTs. Foul called on NO. Celtics inbound with 14 on the SC. Perk gets the ball inside and lays it in. Peja misses a layup. Perk rebounds but Paul picks off the outlet pass. Peja misses from the corner and KG rebounds. Paul with another steal. Ray called for a clear path foul. NO gets two FTs and the ball Paul hits both FTs. NO gets the ball with 23 on the SC. West beats KG and hits a hook shot in the lane. Rondo hits a runner in the lane. Wells misses from the corner. Perk rebounds. RA misses a 3 and Perk rebounds and is fouled. Time out with Celtics up 84-74 and 2:42 left in the 3rd

He gets it back and his shot goes off the side of the backboard and 24 second violation on the Celtics. West hits a jumper. Lead is down to 7. Posey misses a 3. KG tips the rebound out to PP. Chandler called for a foul on KG. He misses the first and hits the second. Peja misses a runner but chandler splits the defenders to tip home the miss. PP misses a runner. KG gets it but has it stripped. Paul called for an offensive foul as Posey takes the charge. That is Paul's 5th foul. Posey did a little acting to get that one. Sam misses a 3. Powe runs down the rebound. PP takes it to the hoop and puts it in off the glass at the buzzer. Score at the end of 3 is Celtics 89 and Hornets 81
