I take this back too. May is huge. He could be Derrick Coleman without the lazyness. Can he pass the ball? Move the rock in a fastbreak O?

See thats the thing. I dont think he is overly skilled. He makes a lot of easy layups. That is pretty much his trademark at the college level. He is a wide body but compared to other NBA PF forwards he wont be able to use his size and height to his advantage like he does at the college level..... He could be good, he could be a massive bust imo... He impressed me going against MIchigan St though... I thought Davis would propose a challenge for him and he really didnt. Although Davis played well too... May dominated teh inside in the second half and thats all you can ask. Whether or not his play translates to the pro level Im not so sure.

That is why I made the Lonny Baxter reference. Baxter was big, and burly and pushed around the college guys. When he got to the pros, everyone was just as big, just as strong, but faster.

Yes, but May doesn't push and bully his way in the paint. He is a finess player in a big body. More than Lonny Baxter, May plays more like Dino Radja.

I like May alot. Though, if we draft him, let's hope he doesn't smoke like Radja did.

Sean May is not going top 5. Top 10 is quite a possibly.

May was absolute beast tonight. I have to give credit where credit is due, from turning UNC from a McCants shoot from the outside to a May low-post game.

Yeah, May has a very good scoring touch near the basket. And he gets to the rebounds he can. I think he's a lot like Rafael Araujo, except a lot more polished.

Nobody thought Ben Gordon would be pick 3 I don't think and look there. May could go top 5 although projected top 10 or 15.

If we were to draft today, where are we picking? I would love to move up and get May. I think he would be the final piece to the puzzle.

That would take trading Tony Allen probably plus the early 2nd.
