Pacers inbound. Foster misses a jump hook. Perk with the rebound. KG misses a jumper on the baseline and JO rebounds. Williams misses and the rebound comes out to Rondo. KG called for an offensive foul as he tries to clear space to go up in the paint. Perk with a block and Ray gets a 3 in transition. Granger is fouled by PP and will shoot 3 FTs. He hits the first. Misses the second, hits the third. Perk with a pass inside to PP and foul called on Granger, his 4th. Celtics inbound on the side. PP avoids a double team and lays it in and draws a foul. He hits the FT. Celtics with pressure in the back court. Granger hits a jumper. RA misses a 3 and the rebound goes out of bounds to Indy. Time out with 2:52 left in the 3rd and Celtics up 72-59

They said the huddle was all about continuing to play tough defense. JO misses and KG rebounds. Rondo called for a foul INdy misses and Celtics rebound. KG hits a jumper from the top of the key. Diener hits a jumper. Williams called for his 5th foul as RA drives down the lane. He hits both FTS. House is in for Rondo. Dunleavy misses and JO tracks down the rebound. JO hits a hook shot over KG. House misses a jumper and RA tips the rebound out to KG. RA misses and Perk picks up his 5th foul on the rebound. Pollard comes in for Perk. Pacers bring the ball up Celtics with light pressure. JO fouled by Tony. He hits both FTs. Celtics inbound with 3.8 seconds in the 3rd. Rondo quickly brings the ball up and gets to the rim but his shot is blocked at the buzzer. Score at the end of 3 is Celtics 76 and Pacers 65.

Rush with the rebound and quickly gets up the floor and misses the layup. Celtics rebound. Pollard is fouled inside. He hits the first and misses the second. Murphy rebounds. tinsley missses and Pollard called for a foul on the rebound. Dunleavy hits a jumper. Lead is down to 10. Eddie House gets the ball in the corner and drives toward the basket and misses a jumper. Rebound goes out of bounds to Indy. Indy misses and Celtics rebound. Dunleavy called for a foul. PP hits both FTs. Tinsley misses a 3 and PP skies for the rebound. Pollard gets the ball inside ans lays it in. Dunleavy called for an offensive foul as he drives to the hoop. Posey takes the charge. RA misses a jumper. Pacers rebound. Granger hits a jumper. PP spins baseline and kicks out to house who misses a 3 from the corner. Indy rebounds. Offensive foul called on Danny Granger, his 5th foul, as the crowd boos the call. Time out with Celtics up 81-70 and 8:23 left in the 4th

KG backs in and draws a foul on JO as he tossed up a shot. That is JO's 5th. KG misses the first FT. He hits the second. GRanger misses inside and KG rebounds. PP hits a 3 after some great ball movement. Tinsley draws the foul on House. He hits the first and House limps off the floor to the locker room. Rondo is back in. He hits the second. PP spins to the basket and misses Rondo rebounds and Posey hits a jumper on the baseline. Rush hits a jumper. Rondo loses the ball in the lane and Rush comes the othe way. He misses a jumper and KG rebounds. PP misses at the SC. JO rebounds. tinsley hits a jumper. Tinsley fouls Rondo as he reaches in to tip the ball away at half court. Time out with 4:31 left in the 4th and Celtics up 89-80

He misses the FT and PP rebounds. Lead is down to 7. KG hits a jumper from the top of the key. Indy throws it away as Posey steps in the passing lane. Celtics miss at the SC. INdy rebounds and Granger throws a bad pass that goes out of bounds. Time out with Boston up 91-82 and 2:52 left in the 4th

Celtics maintain possession. Posey gets inside and lays it in. Rondo with a steal. RA fakes a 3 and then drives down the lane for a layup. Time out with 1:12 left in the 4th and Celtics up 97-84

Nice defensive effort keeping the game from ever getting away in terms of the lead only going up to 6 once in favor of the opponent with the bench scoring contribuiting big time to keeping it close to be up by one at the end of the first. Then of course the Captains BIG second half and the trio continuing to chip in late in the game for a 15 point win on the strong finish! Alot of nice defensive plays too, which I think is always a back breaker to an opponent trying to come from behind!
With all the uglyness, still, a fine and respectable outcome!
Yay.... THCHGW (The Home Crowd Here Goes W-I-L-D) lol
