celtics inboun. PP misses a jumper. RJ rebounds. Magloire misses a layup and Celtics come away with it. Carter plows over Rondo and is called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. RA dribbles off his foot and loses it out of bounds. Kidd drives and misses a layup but draws a foul on BB. Kidd hits both FTS. Magloire called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. PP drives baseline and hits a reverse scoop shot as he draws the foul. He completes the 3 point play. Kidd misses a 3 and KG rebounds. RA Drives into the paint and then backs off and hits a jumper. Nets miss and Celtics rebound. RA sets it up for BB who misses and Nets rebound. Jump ball called as KG breaks up a pass and BB dives on top of Wright to tie up the ball. Celtics win the tip. PP hits a wide open 3 from the top of the arc. Time out with Celtics up 75-55 and 3:51 left in the 3

Carter drives to the hoop and lays it in. PP hits a 3 from the side. KG gets a hand on a pass and it goes out off NJ. PP stops and pops from the FT line and misses KG rebounds. He got hit in the ear and is holding it. PP misses a jumper. Nets rebound. Boone is fouled going to the hoop. Time out with Celtics up 78-57 and 2:18 left in the 3rd

Boone at the line misses both FTs and Celtics rebound. KG called for pushing off. His second foul. Nets inbound. Jefferson moves to the hoop and is fouled by BB. RJ hits both FTs. Rondo hits a jumper on the baseline. CArter gets to the hoop and dunks. Carter comes down holding his ankle and is laying on the floor in pain. Nets take a foul to stop the clock. He is being helped off the floor as he limps very slowly back to the Nets locker room. I hate seeing anyone get hurt. I hope he is ok. Nets are over the limit so RA is at the line. He hits both FTs. Kidd hits a 3. PP spins into the lane and kicks out to RA for a 3. Nachbar is way off with his 3 and KG gets the rebound. KG with a nice pass down the lane to BB for a lay in. Wright hits a jumper at the buzzer. Score at the end of 3 is Boston 87 and New Jersey 64

Nets inbound to start the 4th. Davis called for his 5th foul as Nachbar misses a finger roll. He misses the first FT. hits the second FT. house misses a 3 and Davis rebounds He gets a nice pass to a cutting House for a layup and the foul. He hits the FT. Williams takes it to the hoop and House called for a foul. He hits both FTs. Nets with full court pressure. Ray drives and misses a jumper. Nets rebound. Nachbar lays it in and is fouled. Davis fouls out after playing a nice game... 6 points 8 rebounds 2 assists. Hachbar hits the FT. RA turns it over. Wright lays it in. Time out with Celtics up 90-74 and 10:01 left in the 4th. The Nets are a dangerous team and they are starting to press and trap and the Celtics are cooling off a little while the Nets are taking it to the hoop and heating up. We need to be careful or they will be right back in it.

Jefferson misses and rebound goes out of bounds off Nets. Celtics inbound on the baseline. Nets with pressure. Armstrong called for a foul. Celtics inbound on the side. House misses Wright rebounds. Nets turn it over. Rondo with a skip pass to RA who misses the layup. Nets rebound. KG with a block but Williams there for the put back. KG is fouled hard and is shaken up but looks ok. Williams called for a foul. PP hits a 3 but basket is waived off because KG called for a foul before the shot. Alley oop to Williams for a dunk. Doc calls a time out as the Celtics struggle to get it across. Good job to save the possession. Time out with 7:18 left in the 4th and 92-78

I agree, Global. Big Baby looked good in there. He isn't pretty and finessed and the announcers kept calling him a load, but he really looked good and crashed the boards and hustled. I like what I saw from him.

Stop launching 3's. NJ has us going small and I dont like it. We need perkins in the game. We were ok with Baby but we need someone else on the boards.

Carter has a sprained right ankle. Celtics get it acrossed in the 1 second left. RA hits a 3. Kidd shoots an air ball. PP gets the rebound and passes way up court but the pass is picked off and House called for a foul on Armstrong shooting a 3. He hits all 3 FTs and lead is down to 14. RA misses a 3 and Nets rebound. Jefferson misses and House rebounds. House misses and rebound goes out off KG. Jefferson hits over PP. Rondo's layup is blocked by Nachbar. Kidd misses a jumper and Celtics rebound. Time out as Armstrong is tripped by Rondo. Again the time out came before the foul. Celtics up 95-83 with 5:09 left and Nets have cut it to 12

Armstrong rejects Rondo's layup and Nets back quickly. Foul called on Williams. Time out with 2:58 left in the 4th and Celtics up 100-87

One thing that concerns me is the minutes our big 3 are playing. We only have an 8 man rotation during the first 3 and half quarters when we have been winning by an average of 16, but what happens when the games are a little closer and their aren't as many garbage minutes? I'm worried about fatigue and injuries.

Kidd hits a jumper from the top of the key. PP backs into the lane and misses but Rondo is there for the rebound and put back. Armstrong hits a 3. Lead is down to 10 with just under 2. Rondo misses and Williams gets to the hoop for a dunk. Lead is 8
