Injury Report Ratliff/Scalabrine/Pierce/Olowokandi/Szczerbiak/Allen 2006- 07 304 Player games missed due to injuries
That would be [304 / (9 * 82 )] * 100 = 41% of our rotation. Multiply by .60 * .41 and add in 24/81 for our theoretical winning pct if everyone is healthy = .542 which = 44 wins - 38 losses. I felt that this team should have been 44 - 38 which puts us squarely in the playoffs this season.
Now we get to add a top talent and perhaps trade for Gasol without giving up Pierce or Jefferson and this team should win 50 next year with or without Doc. Tony Allen could take us even higher ;D.
As for tonight, the kids have something to prove and it would be appreciated if we ended this 90 game exhibition season with wins over Miami and Detriot.

I think pairing Gasol with a clutch performer like Pierce would be great. He'll get big numbers and won't have to carry the team in crunch time or playoff time. Something he's not be exactly great at.
As for tonight, Pistons will clear the bench to rest up this team that has a lot of miles on it's starters in this decade so the C's have a pretty good chance at winning it IMO.

Only 48 minutes of basketball left to this bittersweet season. Doc is telling the positives from this season. The development of our young guys... Al, Green, Rondo, Tony, and Perk... Identifying the core of the group. Mike asked Doc if he was going to be here next seaon and Doc said it was a decision he was going to have to make over the summer because of his family and being away from them it makes it very hard. He said if it was any other team it would be an easy decision but with this team, it is a hard one.

Q at the half - Celtics did a good job competing overall against Detriots talent. Rondo, Perkins, and Jefferson played well and that is your core for the future.
