Powe, Ray, Telfair, West, Pinkney on the floor. Bucks inbound to start the 4th. Ray called for a foul on Noel as he drives to the hoop. He hits the first misses the second FT and powe rebounds. Pinkney passes inside to Powe for a layup and foul. Powe hits the FT. Bucks miss a 3 and Powe rebounds. Telfair pulls up and hits a 3. Celtics with a steal and Ray is hit hard by Patterson as he goes up for a layup. he hits both FTs. Reiser gets inside for a dunk. powe with a layup. Greer hits a 3 from the top of the arc. Pinkney misses a jumper and Bucks rebound. travelling called on the Bucks. Time out with 8:58 left in the 4th and Bucks up 89-82

Gomes misses a layup and Pinkney rebounds and misses a layup as he is fouled. He hits the first misses the second and Bucks rebound. Patterson misses and Green rebounds. Ray misses a 3 and powe rebounds. Pinkney misses a jumper and Bucks rebound. Pinkney called for a foul as Bell takes it to the hoop. Crowd didn't like that call. Bell hits the first and misses the second. Bucks hit a jumper. Pinkney misses a jumepr. Bucks rebound. Offensive on Bell as Powe takes a charge. Powe takes it hard to the hoop and is called for an offensive foul. Telfair called for a foul. Gadzuric called for an offensive foul as Pinkney takes the charge. Green hits a fall away jumper in the lane. Greer hits a jumper in the lane. Telfair misses and Pinkney gets the rebound and put back. Travelling on the bucks. Time out with Bucks up 95-87 and 5:21 left in the 4th

Green hits a jumper from the FT line. Gadzuric gets inside for a dunk. Pinkney's shot is blocked. Gadzuric gets a rebound and put back. Powe hits a jumper from the FT line. Pinkney fouls Greer on the baseline. Perk comes back in for Pinkney. Bucks miss a 3 and Ray rebounds. Green goes baseline and lays it in with 2 defenders on him. Foul on Telfair in the back court. Goykins hits both FTs. Ray hits a jumper. Time out with 2:42 left in the 4th and Bucks up 101-95

Bucks inbound on the side. Boykins misses and Powe gets a hand on the rebound and tips it to Ray. Powe lays it in. Powe with a block and the ball. Powe gets the ball inside and lays it in. 2 point game with 1:22 left.

Boykins hits a jumper. Green misses a 3 Ray tips the rebound out to Telfair. Telfair misses a 3 and Ray gets the rebound. Time out with 45 seconds left in the 4th and Bucks up 103-99

I wasn't sick, but I promised to take Mrs Q out to dinnah! Got back in time for the halftime dog and pony show and the old stories of the 50th anniversary of our 1st title. Gee it would be a crying shame to lose this game in front of the old fogies. Maybe Bill Russell will trot out in his #6 jersey to save the day.

Q, I have been shaking my head over this all last night. I have been pretty much fuming, actually.  Doc threw that game. He didn't want to win it and that is tanking. The players didn't tank. They were playing hard. Leon almost won it by himself. But Doc left Ray in at the point down the stretch. There was nothing to gain from than except Not winning the game. Ray hasn't played the point enough and may or may not be back next season for Doc to say he was playing for next season other than to be tanking the game for Oden. Also, he didn't call a time out on that last play. He has a young group. He has a player at PG who has only played PG in the game a handful of times and this group hasn't played together much and he doesn't call a time out. The only other conclusion I can come to is that he really is a terrible, terrible coach. If Danny and the owners are saying he is a good coach, then he must have been tanking on purpose. I just hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the lottery. If we aren't being honest here, I don't expect any luck. |
