NotesIf you look at the heights of the players on both teams, you can see that the Celtics have a height advantage at every position except center. This game has big implications for the draft. If we win, the Bucks would be 2 games behind us for the second worst record with 3 games remaining. If we lose, we clinch the worst record with this game. We are at a distinct disadvantage in that we have only 7 mostly healthy players left with one kind of iffy player (either West or Telfair) to make the league minimum of 8 players. Even if we play well in the first three quarters as we have in the past two games, chances are that we may end up running out of gas again. But don't underestimate the desire of the Bucks to tank, either. |

West is going to be in the starting lineup tonight according to the Globe. Telfair is also suiting up and will be available.

Al Jefferson won the Red Auerbach Award before the game... It is for the player who best exemplifies Celtics Pride.
Bucks win the tip and turn it over on a travel. Green passes up a 3 and passes to Gomes in the corner and Perk called for 3 second violation. Gadzuric gets inside for a layup. Green gets the ball under the basket and throws it off the Bucks as he falls out of bounds. Celtics miss a jumper and Gomes hustles for the rebound. Bucks with a steal. Ilyasova pulls up and hits a 3. West back rims his first shot. Rondo gets a hand on the rebound but it goes out of bounds to the Bucks. Bell hits a jumper in the lane. Green hits a jumper from the top of the key. Gadzuric hits a jumper off the catch. Gomes hits a jumper from just inside the arc. Bell hits a long jumper. West drives and misses a layup. perk rebounds but the put back is no good. Gadzuric gets inside for a layup. Gadzuric blocks West's shot out of bounds. perk misses a fall away on the baseline. Bucks rebound. Bell hits from the corner. Bucks are 7-7 to begin the game. Time out with 7:00 left in the 1st and Bucks up 15-4.

Green misses a pull up jumper and Perk rebounds and lays it in. Gadzuric called for a walk as he makes a move to the basket. Ilyasova called for a foul. Gomes gets the ball inside to West who hands off to Rondo for a dunk and a foul. He hits the FT. Patterson takes it to the hoop and lays it in. West gets the ball inside from Perk and lays it in. Patterson misses and Gomes grabs the rebound. Rondo misses a jumper from the FT line and Patterson rebounds. Bell misses from the corner and Rondo runs down the rebound and spins it around his back and gets it past Bell. West gets inside for a layup. Bell hits a 3 off the catch. Green hits a jumper from the top of the key. Rondo goes for a steal and the refs disagree about who touched it last so jump ball called. Rondo catches the tip instead of tipping it and so Milwaukee gets the ball. Bell is fouled and misses the first FT. Hits the second. Gomes spins around the defender and lays it in. Patterson takes it to the hoop and draws a foul on Gomes. Powe comes in for Gomes. Patterson hits the FT. Green hits a jumper at the SC. Bell misses a jumper and Celtics rebound. Celtics turn it over. Patterson gets to the hoop for a layup. Green tosses up a shot in traffic and Bucks rebound. Patterson again takes it to the hoop for 2. West misses a 3 and Bucks rebound. Gadzuric gets inside for a layup. West hits a 3 from the corner. Time out with Bucks up 29 -22 and 56 seconds left in the first

Bucks inbound on the side. Noel misses a 3 and Powe rebounds. Ray hits a 3 from the corner. Rondo gives the foul. Bucks inbound on the side with 11.1 on the SC. Green breaks up the pass and Bucks inbound with 7.9 on the SC. Patterson is fouled by Rondo and goes to the line. He hits the first and Telfair comes in for perk. He hits the second. Rondo quickly gets it up the court and Boykins gives the foul. Celtics inbound with 3.2 on the SC. West takes it to the hoop and misses a layup. Score at the end of 1 is Bucks 31 and Celtics 25

Celtics inbound to start the second. Bucks shooting 75% in the first quarter. Ray, Pinkney, Powe, Green and Telfair on the floor. Celtics turn it over. Bell misses from the corner and rebound goes out off Bucks. Patterson gets a steal on a bad pass by Ray. Patterson is fouled and hits both FTs. Celtics easily pass out of the Bucks pressure. Telfair misses a jumper. Pinkney comes in for the rebound but misses the put back and Noel comes away with it. Bell misses a jumper and Telfair rebounds. Pinkney hits a baseline jumper. Noel misses and rebound goes out off Reiner. Powe hits a jumper from the FT line. Patterson hits a jumper from the FT line. Celtics turn it over on a bad pass from Telfair. Noel is fouled by Pinkney. He hits both FTs. Green hits a 3 from the top of the arc. Celtics called for a foul. Time out with Bucks up 37-32 and 8:28 left in the half.

Bucks inbound on the side and miss a jumper. Powe muscles in for the rebound. Kicked ball and Celtics inbound on the side. Powe spins into the lane and misses a jumper but Pinkney gets the rebound and lays it in. Bucks miss and the rebound goes out off the Bucks. Not sure what is going on with the game cause they are talking with Frank Ramsey and Cousy and heinsohn about the 57 team. Bucks with a steal. Celtics knock it out with 12 on the SC. Bucks hit a jumper. West takes it down the lane to the hoop and lays it in and draws a foul. he hits the FT. Telfair called for a foul. The crowd is booing at something. Celtics have the ball again. Ray hits a 3 from the corner and Celtics are within 1. Bucks miss from the corner. Celtics rebound. Celtics turn it over. West called for a foul. Time out with Bucks up 41-40. 5:12 left in the half. They kept taking the camera off the game and showing Frank Ramsey and Cousy and Tommy and so I may have missed a few things. They don't seem all that interested in the game but are talking over old times.

Not sure what is going on as they are now showing a picture of the 57 team. Celtics have the ball. Celtics with a 24 second violation as they lose the ball and then recover it. Bucks hit a jumper. Celtics miss a jumper and Perk rebounds but turns it over. Bucks turn it over. Ray misses a layup and Green rebounds. Bucks hit a jumper. Rondo misses a runner and Bucks rebound. Greer hits a 3 from the corner. Time out with Bucks up 50-40 and 3:20 left in the half.

Bucks rebound. Gadzuric takes it hard to the hoop for a dunk. Pinkney misses from the top of the key and Green fights for the rebound and lays it in. Patterson hits a jumper from the top of the key. Powe gets the ball inside and his layup goes in and out at the buzzer. Score at the half is Bucks 56 and Celtics 43

Gomes cuts to the basket and gets a good pass from West and draws the foul on Ilyasova. Gomes hits both FTs. West called for a foul on Patterson. He hits both FTs. West hits a jumper from the FT line. Boykins misses and Gomes rebounds. Perk misses a layup and Gadzuric rebounds. Noel hits a 3 from the top of the arc. West misses a jumper and Bucks rebound. Boykins misses a 3 but bucks rebound and Noel hits a jumper. Perk gets inside and lays it in and draws a foul on Gadzuric. Perk hits the FT. Gomes knocks the ball away from Patterson as he gets to the hoop. Gadzuric misses a dunk and perk rebounds and brings the ball up. Celtics with a back court violation as Green misses a pass and then goes after it in the back court. Bucks miss and Green rebounds. Gomes misses inside and rebound is tipped around and Boykins comes away with it. Bell misses a layup and Gomes rebounds. Boykins called for a foul. Now they are interviewing Risen so missing parts of the game again. Green hits both FTs. Bucks hit a jumper. Green misses a 3 from the corner. Bucks rebound but Celtics steal it and Green lays it in and is fouled. He misses the FT and Bucks rebound. perk called for a foul as he prevents a layup. Patterson hits both FTs. Celtics called for a 3 second violation. Boykins hits a jumper in the lane. Perk hits a jump hook in the lane. Bucks miss and Gomes rebounds. Perk misses a layup ( he was fouled but no call). He gets the rebound and dunks it. Bucks hit a jumper. Time out with 2:25 left in the 3rd and Bucks up 73-65

Gadzuric takes it to the hoop and is fouled. Powe comes in for Perk. He hits the FT. Powe takes it to the hoop and misses a layup but gets his own rebound and tips it in. Bucks turn it over on a bad pass out of bounds. Ray turns it over and Boykins takes it to the hoop and lays it in. Telfair hits a 3 at the buzzer. Score at the end of 3 is Bucks 83 and Celtics 72
