Well, it doesn't get any easier for us, after facing the league's top team last night, we now have to face the 3-time champions.
I hope we give another strong effort and play the role of the disappointers. Pierce will be guarded by Bruce Bowen, and if he's having a hard time, he needs to give the ball up and not try to dribble and dance around.
It'll be fun watching Rajon battle Parker. Delonte guarding Brent Barry is going to be a mismatch (giving up a lot of height).

We are on the back end of 4 games in 5 nights so I would be concerned about the energy level we come in with. The team is playing a lot better which is always encouraging. On the other hand, how seriously are the good teams taking the Celtics right now? Perkins and Powe appear to be effective when they are in the game.
On a side note, I still think Doc Rivers should be replaced but we have no way of knowing what goes on behind the scenes so perhaps he stays and turns it around and we say "our bad" on Doc Rivers. The team was coming together back in December at 10 - 13 and 1st place and then the team simply went into a black hole for two months.

Q at the qtr - Was a bit surprised to see Olowakandi out there. Is Perkins OK?
Anyway - this is probably the best qtr I have seen the C's put together. Surprisingly, the Spurs have not shown up. Let us see if this keeps up.

To root for a win or one more ping-pong ball, that is the question...
I still want to see the Celts win every game thay can. The Tim Duncan deal tells me why.

I would be tickled pink as heck if the Celts beat them, finish like 2nd worst after NOT tanking so bad we play our star even though we didn't have to, then get Oden anyway as a little FU towards San Antonio for getting Duncan. I'd love to see Oden dominate Duncan and the Spurs for the next decade. It might be even sweeter if the same thing happened and we dominated San Antonio with Durant from.....Texas.
