Q at the 4:45 mark 2nd - I hope we get Rondo in there and sit D-West (Pierce). I think Rondo gives Parker problems out there and is responsible for the C's advantage. See you at the half.

Rondo, PP, Perk, Green, West on the floor. Spurs miss a jumper and West rebounds. Rondo's pass is too low for Perk to get and Celtics turn it over. Barry takes it to the basket, lays it in and draws a foul on Green. He hits the FT. Lead is down to 7. Duncan blocks Perk's layup and jump ball is called. Al comes in for Green. Spurs win the tip. Perk called for a foul, his 3rd. Duncan misses the 1st and Kandi comes in for Perk. He hits the second. Rondo brings the ball up quickly. Al is doubled Defensive 3 second violation on Spurs. PP misses the T. West should be taking the T's especially with PP's elbow bothering him again. PP takes it to the basket and is fouled. He misses both FTs. Duncan called for a travel. Foul on Kandi setting a screen. Not a very good call. The refs are really calling ticky tack stuff on us. Timeout with Celtics up 41-35 and 2:55 left in the half

The refs aren't giving us a break at all tonight. Duncan at the line hits the first misses the second and Rondo rebounds. Al is fouled by Alberto as he goes up for a layup. He hits both FTs. Parker takes it to the basket and is fouled by Rondo. Parker hits both FTs. Rondo called for basket interference on Al's hook shot. PP deflects a pass out of bounds. Ray comes in for PP. Spurs inbound on the side Duncan misses and rebound goes out of bounds off Spurs. Al hits a hook shot on the baseline. Parker takes it to the basket and lays it in. Ginobili steals it from Al. Parker rims out a 3 and Ray gets the rebound at the buzzer. Score at the half is Boston 45 and San Antonio 40

Q at the half - Celtics were just hanging on playing hard at both ends of the court. Good effort by the Celtics but some adjustments are required. Perhaps bring the bigs up to the elbow and let Pierce and Green run back door. We have to get a little creative out there to move the SA defense. I mean - we can't just rely on Jefferson beating his man on the blocks all night - Pop is taking that away. On defense - KEEP PLAYING HARD!!!!!!
Maybe Allen Ray can get 5 treys in the 2nd half.
We need a CAT A road win - why not tonight on ST Patricks Day.

Starters on the floor for the Celtics. Celtics inbound to start the 3rd. Perk comes up and under and Duncan is called for his 3rd foul. Perk hits both FTs. Bowen misses a jumper and Celtics rebound. PP gets ahead and lays it in. Spurs miss a jumper and PP rebounds. Blocking foul underneath as PP takes it hard to the basket. PP hits both FTs. Duncan misses and Rondo comes out with the rebound. West hits a jumper from the wing on a good pass from Perk. Time out with Celtics up 53-40 and 10:20 left in the 3rd

Again no pressure in the back court. Parker hits a floater on the baseline. Al is doubled and called for a travel as he tries to get out of it. Ginobili gets to the basket for a layup. PP spins in the lane and is fouled by Findley. He hits both FTs. Ginobili's shot is blocked by Perk. West is called for a foul. Ginobili at the line hits both FTs. West hits a 3 off the catch. Oberto misses a jumper and rebound it tipped around and brought down by PP. Perk hits a fall away jumper on the baseline. Al with a steal. offensive foul on PP. Ginobili misses a 3 and Rondo pulls down his 11th rebound. Pierce takes it to the basket and hits a scoop shot and is fouled. He hits the FT. Oberto misses and Rondo gets another rebound. West misses from the top of the key and Duncan rebounds. Oberto hits a hook shot. Rondo takes it to the basket but misses a layup. Spurs rebound. Parker takes it to the basket and lays it in. Time out called with Boston up 65-50 and 4:48 left in the 3rd

This is impressive. 2nd game of a back to back on the road, after playing the Mavs tight and we are demolishing the spurs. This team is coming together nice.

Q at the turn - Celtics played an outstanding 3rd qtr - or San Antonio played very poorly.
Actually - the Celtics are giving it their all and have caught San Antonio off guard tonight. But the 4th qtr is a different animal as we are all painfully aware of.

Kandi was trying to get back defensively and Bonner was in his way and they called a Technical on him. They make the T. Bonner hits a jumper. Celtics turn it over. Doc needs to put Rondo back in. Findley gets past Green and dunks. Lead is down to 9. Time out with 10:36 left in the 4th and Celtics up 77-68.
