Gomes Al Pierce Green West on the floor. Celtics inbound on the side. West gets the ball. West misses a 3 and he runs in for the rebound and misses a toss at the buzzer. For the second day in a row, we go to OVERTIME!!!

Minny wins the tip. Garnett hits a baseline jumper. Pierce, West, Gomes, Al, Green on the floor. Al hits in the lane. Garnett fouled by West and Wolves inbound on the side. Blount is fouled by Al under the basket. Blunt at the line being heartily booed. He hits both FTs. PP dribbles into a double team and loses it. (deja vu). Blount hits a long jumper and skips up the court. Time out with 3:09 left in OT and Minny up 99-95

I wonder why Delonte held the ball so long when he was trying to hit the winning shot. he just waited for like 7 seconds and then shot it from long

Same group comes out after the time out. Celtics inbound on the baseline and West brings it up. Al misses a jumper over Blount and Gomes rebounds. Green misses a runner and Al grabs the rebound and lays it in. Celtics need a stop here. Hudson misses a jumper and PP rebounds. PP got away with a travel. West hits a straight away 3. Garnett misses a jumper. Gomes with the rebound. PP loses it but it rolls out to Al who grabs it and lays it in and is fouled by blount. Blount has fouled out of the game. YES!!!!! He gets his customary boos as he goes to the bench. Al misses the FT and Garnett grabs the rebound. Time out with 1:18 left in OT and Celtics up 102-99

Ricky is skipping out onto the floor. He inbounds to Hudson. Ricky hits a 3 off the catch and ties the game at 102. Al makes a move on Smith and is fouled. Al front rims the first. hits the second. Wolves bring it up. Celtics not pressing. Gomes tips the pass and Al comes up with it and gets it to West and Smith fouls West as he dribbles it over half court. Wolves are over the limit and West is at the line. He hits both FTs. Lead is 3. Time out with 21.6 left in OT and Celtics up 105-102

Celtics need to get a stop. Scal comes in for the Celtics. Ricky inbounding on the side. Blocking foul called on Gomes. Celtics had 1 to give. They get it into Ricky. He is fouled by Gomes shooting a 3. That was a bad call. He was clearly way behind the line and they call it a 2 and give him 2 shots. He hits both shots. Time out with 15.1 seconds left and Celtics up 105-104

Of course Doc takes Gerald out. Playing in these close games down the stretch is really good experience for the C's though. They seem to be learning. Gomes, West and Big Al are really coming up big for us.
