Its reported that Philly has interest in Gomes. If Ainge sticks to his guns and no other team seriously bids for Iverson, how would you all feel if we got Iverson for Gomes, Telfair, Delonte and Theo Ratliff (these 3 guys have been mentioned all over the boards as the possible guys to be traded for Iverson)?
Iverson Pierce Wally Jefferson Perk
I hate to say it, but that lineup does have potential. And off the bench, we'd still have Rajon, Gerald, Powe and Scalabrine (I'm liking Red-head more and more).

The only way I'd be interested in AI is if it doesn't include Jefferson or Green. for gomes, West, Telfair that isn't bad.... I'm kind of giving kudos to Aigne here though for sticking to his guns on this. I'd rather just go with the young guys, but if we can get AI for Gomes, WEst, Telfair it's worth considering. Gomes, West, Telfair is a lot to give up though. I personally think we are giving the sixers 3 solid up and coming players.

If that happened I don't think I could sit around and complain that we got the worst of the deal. I just would rather take a shot at Oden. People can disagree with me as much as they want, but Gomes is proven and Al isn't. I don't think that ultimately Gomes can or should be as good as AL, or if so, not by much, but i do think Gomes helps us win a championship more than AL. I'm not sure about Telfair or West. I think PP brings us further away.

I'd dont think we are getting a bad deal in the aforementioned AI deal, I just think we'd have a better chance at building a powerhouse by getting into this draft. I know the fans would kill him for it, but I'd love to see Ainge explore a Pierce to Chi trade, with NY's #1 pick in the works.

There was some rumor about Golden State offering Biedrins and Baron Davis for Ai. You guys realize that's like 90 times better than anything we could possibly hope to offer right? I mean that's probably better than Rondo, AL, and GG.

If that was the deal, Philly wouldl've traded AI already. I doubt GS is going to give up their only good front-court player on that team. And basically getting a little upgrade at the pg position. Doesn't make sense for GS.
