Looks like it is Paul Pierce or bust for the Celtics. Perkins is not rebounding well, must be that plantar fascitis.

When I turned on this game I thought I saw a mirage. I saw 5 guys on the court and none of them were PP or Wally and I figured maybe Doc was fired before the game. But alas one of them was Scala. Oh well. At least he played well.

You would think they would give the ball to Zerby or Jefferson down low. Everyone knows the Celtics will go to Pierce.

I don't think you could really blame this loss on Doc. When your stars get outplayed by theirs in the 4th quarter at home that's not your fault. But had the team won I wouldn't have given him the credit either. When the team does well i think it's kind of random and in spite of him.

Wally, PP, Perk, Al and Telfair on the floor. PP gets it in to telfair. back to PP. To telfair. ball gets fumbled and Perk comes up with it. Perk gets it cross court to Wally who fumbles it out of bounds. Nets win. That was a horrible last possession.
Final score Nets 106 Celtics 103. Another blown lead. Another loss.

I hate the way Gorman acts like it's not even bad. i wish the announcers would act as disgusted as we are. Maybe Heinsohn would if they let him.

Statistically the Cs played a very good game. They were barely outrebounded, outstealed, out turnovered, and outfouled. They shot well. They dominated in blocks. They just gave it away. I'd be embarrassed if I were them. I mean at some point don't you get embarrassed about embarrassing loses all the time that you should be winning?

Why was Wally trying to go to the basket with 2 seconds on the clock and we are down by 3? And why was Pierce taking a contested 3 with plenty of time on the clock and we are down by 2. Our final 2 possesions were just stupid.
