at Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks 9:00 PM TV: League Pass, FSN Radio: WRKO Probable Starters: vs Telfair vs Williams vs Wally vs Redd vs Pierce vs Patterson vs Gomes vs Ilyasova vs Perk vs Bogut Sixth Man vs Jefferson vs Bell The Celtics are coming off a thorough thrashing by the Knicks and hopefully will find some pride and come out with some fire against the Bucks. We are getting players back from being injured but I don't think that they are 100%. Perk is playing hurt, Wally is still not the same, West is playing hurt, and Jefferson is only 2 weeks away from emergency surgery and still doesn't have his strength back 100% as I saw him wincing when he got hit in the Knicks game. I have no explanation for the lack of energy and effort from the players in the past 2 games. I do know that our inability to deal with the 2-3 zone of the Knicks is a coaching failure. We had absolutely no clue how to break the zone. We settled for bad outside shots and didn't try to get to the basket or to move the ball to find the open man. Hopefully one of our coaches will work on this in practice because I will bet that we will see this again. Key to the Game:EFFORT!!! We have come out flat for two games in a row. If we will just commit to playing tough defense and pressure the ball, it will key our offense to get back on track.

If they play with little or no effort again tonight, changes have to be made. Either with lineup changes, roster changes (trade) or a coaching change.

We have the Milwaukee feed tonight ... I hate getting other teams announcers. Bucks are well rested and Celtics played last night. These two teams seem to be fairly evenly matched but fatigue may figure into it as will coaching brain farts. I sure hope we play better tonight than we did the last two games. Redd always seems to get new career highs when they play us.
Starters same as always Pierce, Wally, Perk, Telfair, and Gomes.

I get upset seeing Scal because Powe is twice the player he is and needs the playing time. The announcers are saying that if the Celtics would play some defense they would be a much better team but doc is known as an offensive coach.
