Hopefully, we can build on this. Perkins had his fourth solid game in a row, and Gomes is coming around. Nice to see both Rondo and Telfair play well. The key will be to hit a level of consistency.

Not only did we play hard for all 4 quarters, but we controlled the tempo for most of the way. The game started out shaking (falling down by 7 before we even got our first point), but we took over and never looked back.
It was a really interesting game because the starters looked slow and boring, but yet they finished with good stats. When the bench came in, the provided more energy and actually stayed on the floor much longer than they normally do, and we were still able to keep the attack going and not give up the lead.
Very encouraging game to watch. Hope to see this type of good basketball continue on tomorrow when we play Portland.

Have to love Telfair and Rondo combining for 13 assists. I know you'd like the starter to get 13, but this looks like an improfement to me.
Really love some of the articles posted---about Perkins play; about Powe. Hope the guy who wrote that one on Powe was reporting accurately.

PP is now listed as being t he 2. I remember (I think that last year he was the 3. I know that the 2 are supposedly interchangeable. But there are more guys vying for time at the 2 than the 3. Wonder how that will play out. Will PP play the 3?

I believe PP has been playing more of a 3 than 2, due to his rebound numbers. My guess is Wally is playing outside more and Paul is cutting inside to snag misses and slop-boards.
Just a guess - not seeing the games...

Paul has been playing the three more than the two this season. Wally has been starting at the 2 and West comes in for him at the 2.

Thanks FL... Nice to know the inside angle.

I had assumed that approach, but was somewhat confused by box score designations. I'd much rather Wally sit down for West and Rondo than for PP to do so.
Thanks.

Paul has been playing the three more than the two this season. Wally has been starting at the 2 and West comes in for him at the 2. imo paul has played more at the three ever since ricky was brought to boston.
