Outstanding game by the C's tonight. They are showing a lot of what they are capable of and they can get some momentum for this upcoming weekend.

And L'affaire garbage features the Gerald Green shooting range and the Rajon Rondo driving range. Ole Larry must be thinking what kind of monster is his buddy Danny Ainge creating here?

Stated before season that it will be 20 games into the season before we know what DA has wrought. Still think so.
IMHO the most important line tonight belonged to Perkins. He didn't get really into foul trouble, and thus played 20 plus minutes. Which let him rebound and get some points and block 4 shots.
Whenever a team gets 20 or more assists, I tend to think they have a chanace to win because they are moving the ball pretty good. ST and Rondo got 13 between the 2 of them.
Although PP won't get 30 plus every night, there will be nights when one of the '3RD" scorers get more than 12.
GFood to see Gomes get 12 boards----I guess against apretty strong opponent.

The key to tonights victory was that we dominated the boards and a lot of that credit must go to Perkins and Gomes. Once we get Jefferson back, we could have one of the best young frontlines foursomes in the NBA. And Rondo is the 2nd best Rookie behind only Adam Morrison - go check out my San Antonio - Charlotte writeup.

We played defense tonight and that was the key. We hit the boards, challenged shots, got in the passing lanes and forced turnovers. I think Perk set the tone with some tough play early and the rest of the team followed suit. Rondo played great defense as did Gomes and West.
I am a happy camper tonight. They played the way I have been saying they are capable of playing.
Rondo won the Tommy Award...

One would assume they played some good D, given the scoring disparity. I'm hoping that some of the comments are result of eye-witness.
Was Gomes going up against O'Neal?

That's the first time I've seen the C's play a complete game for 4 quarters both offensively and defensively in a long time. Doc's rotations were actually very good tonight. Gomes and Perk were amazing. Kandi has been a good pickup, when Perk got in foul trouble, he came in and the C's didn't lose a beat defensively. And Pierce had the quietest 30+ I've seen in a while. Pierce is so much better when he is forced to defer to the team, not the other way around, and tonight he was because of the way guys were playing.
