I doubt that anyone will give much for Allen until his troubles are over. I wonder if anyone has actually called inquiring about Scal. I would like to be a fly on the wall for that conversation. Isiah maybe? What was DAnny thinking there... "Hmm lets get a total stiff, who will just do what we ask and not cause any problems, and sign him to 15 mil so we can potentially use him as cap filler in a trade later on. And we'll even play him sometimes." That had to be his reasoning.

That lineup could work well, CF (Telfair, Delonte, PP, Big Al, and Perk). But if Delonte is going to be the starting 2, he needs to be aggressive with his shot. He needs to be a guy who puts up 15 ppg. He's going to get a lot of kickouts from Sebastian, as well as from Jefferson in the post, so he's going to have to have that scoring mentality.
Delonte is only about 6'3", so he's undersized at the 2. But I think back to the Pistons of the 80's and they had Joe Dumars, and he wasn't all that quick, or athletic, or explosive. But he was smart and he could shoot the ball and score on penetrations.

I like Delonte at the 2, because he can shoot, he runs, and he plays bigger than he is. Plus he is a very good passer for a 2. He and Telfair could really ignite the break together. And we can bring in Gomes and go small and really run.

I also look forward to seeing both Rajon and Telfair on the court together. Talk about making things happen--these two will create plays in bunches.

I think they will create mayhem on the defensive end as well.. They are so quick they could drive teams crazy at both ends. Danny was smart in getting these guys and I hope he hangs onto them. We have two of the quickest guards in the league in Rondo and Telfair.

delonte's ceiling is being a sixth man. he's no starter - too sg to be a pg and too small to be a starting sg
