The 2nd of back to back set with division leading NJ. The Celtics look for the 1st 3 game winning streak of the season and to shave another game off the NJ lead on the Celtics. Boston has done a good job so far against the divisional rivals. In fact they should have been perfect except for some numbnuts play in Philly last week. But that was before Doc commited to Perkins and Jefferson. To accomplish this task of winning in the Tuna Swamp tomorrow, the mistakes of the veterans must stop. Pierce and RD must pass the ball or shoot the open looks. There can be no sloppiness like the 3rd qtr tonight. That was horrible. New Jersey had no business winning tonight's game as they were outplayed decisively if the Celtics hadn't committed those TO's and missed the FT's. There are matchup problems that Perkins, Jefferson, and even LaFrentz create for the NJ bigs. Also lack of depth is a problem for the Nets as they have last three out of four games on their homecourt on the 2nd night of back to backs. The Celtics are applying themselves better and have closed out successfully in tight games twice in a row. To do it tonight in New Jersey would be huge.

I really measure tonight's game as a HUGE test. It's a back-to-back game against a 1st place team at their home floor who we just surprised last night. You know New Jersey will come out to play, and this time they will not be surprised by what we throw at them. I think it will be very difficult to beat this team back to back games, BUT if we manage to get another win, it will mark the first time where we have won 3 in a row, and we will have picked up two quick games on the division leaders. If we get a win tonight, the confidence of Perk and Big Al will be SO HIGH. It will be great for the team's morale and chemistry as well as helping Doc to gain more trust in his young guys hopefully enough to continue playing them. This could be a turning point of the season right here. The Minnesota game was of course, but it can continue again tonight if it is realized that last night was not a fluke. I hope the streak continues. Keep it up C's!!! BCP!!!

Yep, attack them with Al and Perk. Sick Tony Allen on Vince Carter and play Allen more than 15 minutes. His athleticism and quickness should be able to at least stay in front of Carter.
Last night, we should have won by 10, but our free throw percentage was terrible. Hopefully, we can keep up the pressure on them and make another game out of this one.
