Wow, that's a San Antonio move. I like it. yeah, when you think about it if the Celts got Evan Fournier with the TPE and N Batum with the MLE....that's a lot deeper team all of a sudden. Still doesn't address the backup center spot. Cody Zeller for the LLE would be better than Theis at 8mill. Gives us veteran depth in one fell swoop. I'll be ok with those moves, but I'm going to need a pretty solid upgrade from Tatum, Jaylen and Rob.

If Brad is willing to trade Pritchard for a rookie I have to wonder if it means he thinks Yam Madar can do a lot of what Pritch does. Or maybe even Stauskas if he were given more minutes. I think you have to be at least a little careful what you wish for because if either Smart or D White went down you could have a problem.

Either that, or Brad has PG targets he's confident in getting. I highly doubt Madar is ready to step into backup minutes for a contending team.

I could see the distinct possibility of being able to replace Pritch, at least by the end of the year. I don't think he could be an 8th man, but I think he could be a 12th man and a 3rd pg. Maybe. Pritch himself just didn't play that much

Pritchard is almost unplayable in the playoffs, because of his size. D.White, who I do not think it under-sized, got schooled by Wiggins frequently on the switch. I do not think Ime trusted Neismith. Neismith has all the tools, just does not use them.

www.masslive.com/celtics/2022/06/ime-udoka-wants-celtics-to-target-veteran-scorer-in-free-agency-consistent-scoring-off-the-bench-is-key.htmlIn this article from Masslive Celtics, Brian Robb quotes Ime as saying: “Consistent scoring off the bench is a huge key,” Udoka said. “You’d like to look at certain positions, and I think we have a lot of things covered, but can always have additions with the trade exceptions we have. So we’ll take a look at a certain amount of names that are available, possibly, and see if we can fit anything in numbers wise. But there are some things to address and I think the thing that stood out a little bit in the Finals was our bench scoring, kind of solidifying that with a veteran, veteran roles off the bench."Our starting Five had a historically great 50 game stretch. Our bench had some good moments and some not so good moments. Our stars (JT, JB) need to shine brightly. Our role players (Rob, Horford, Smart) need to support the stars. Our bench needs to fill in the gap. Seems like we're targeting veteran scorers off the bench who will fit into the TPE's.

I think White will be much better with a full season. Also, I expect Theis to play more to rest RW3/Horford.
By the way, there was a huge drop-off between the 9th player and the rest of the team (10th..).
