I’m on the fence with Brogdon. He’s a tremendous role player who fit in perfectly with Milwaukee’s style of running the offense through Giannis. But the Bucks (as would I) have a set price for. Rogdon that they don’t want to go beyond, cause they cannot overpay for a role player. Middleton has potential to make an All-Star team — not sure about Malcom. I do not want to be the MIA Heat of the East, where our GM signs a half dozen players to $10-$20m for players that are OK, but not great.

That’s why Ainge is going the discount route by looking overseas for guys like Larkin, Theis, Wanamaker (and maybe big man Vincent Poitier is next). Cannot overpay for role players (like Rozier).

Wow, did you read what Steve Bulpette wrote? He said there’s word that Ainge was willing to trade Irving for Kemba 2 years ago (maybe shortly after we traded for him). Meaning Danny had his eye on Kemba a long time, even more than he liked Kyrie, and would’ve traded him for Kemba.
This offseason is turning out to be better than we imagined a couple of weeks ago.

It’s as official as it’s going to get (just has to sign the contract agreement, which he will do as soon as he’s allowed to). All the credible media folks are already stating matter of factly that this is a done deal.
