Say Kyrie bolts Boston and leaves a vacancy at the starting PG position. Would you keep Rozier? Or do you not see him worth holding onto?

I say yes because he knows the system and been successful with it in the playoffs. If the rumor is true that AD would like to come and stay here no matter what Kyrie does, then that may be the best option for Brad's ball movement offense.

I'm going to say no. Rozier is nice when he is on, but a headache when he isn't. His dribbling, though crisper, hardly ever is used to his advantage. His passes are inaccurate, and I can't say I see court vision out of Terry (or a high level basketball acumen).
He's the type of guy I hope Ainge doesn't draft anymore.

Not at the price it'll likely cost us. Someone in the league is going to offer him Evan Turner money ($70 mil/4 years) and we should do the same thing we did with Evan. Find a decent veteran PG who will cost 1/3 to 1/2 as much and draft a young PG of the future. TR just isn't a PG.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBRYxN4MLPkNot after this year and that interview above. I'm no fan of Rozier. "I don't complain" yet he goes on TV and complains. I never thought he was as good as he or many fans thought anyway.

He had a nice run last Spring, but even then he was rarely good on the road, and he regressed this year. Great rebounder, streaky shooter, poor ball-handler, average passer, poor penetrator, average defender. Great athlete, average ball player - at best.

Terry has been a guest on some sports shows, and he’s subtly throwing folks under the bus, and making it known to all that he was treated unfairly. He makes it clear that if Kyrie is back, he (Rozier) won’t be.
I’m now wondering how much Terry’s attitude and demeanor wore on Kyrie? Maybe more than we know. Maybe that’s why Kyrie mailed it in, cause Terry was just that toxic.

I wouldn't say he's subtly throwing folks under the bus - he's placing all the blame on others and not himself. Ridiculous. "I sacrificed my talent" - gimme a break, let's not act like he's the most talented or even top 5 talented on this team. I don't want that kind of guy on a team even if a spot opens up for him. At least he didn't throw any shade at the Coach I guess.

I was about to say that after hearing him talk he can leave. He did throw the coaching staff under the bus too.

Rozier does not have a choice. He is a RFA, hence BOS can match any offer.
My interpretation of Rozier's recent remarks is that he is stating that he wants to run the offense and Brad elected Irving, and Hayward to run the offense. Also, he is stating that he is not as effective as only a spot up shooter. I would agree with him.

I was about to say that after hearing him talk he can leave. He did throw the coaching staff under the bus too. In that interview with Keller and SAS, Rozier tried to pick his words carefully, as to not air out the dirty laundry, but he basically called out Brad for babying Kyrie and Hayward, as well as saying Kyrie and Hayward crippled his season because he ended up being a corner shooter instead of utilizing all his talents. Maybe there’s a reason why Brad didn’t give Rozier the reins to run the team — Rozier is not a good Point.

It seems like TR is purposely burning his bridges in Boston. That's ok. He'll find out soon enough that he's not as good as he thinks he is.

We need a more efficient player in his role. It is one thing if a player has unbelievable talent and gets a little carried away with his shot, but t-ro is not as good as he thinks he is.

That’s my whole motto this offseason. Ainge needs to get efficient players. Smart players with good basketball IQ who play the game the right way. Disciplined players who know their role and excel at it.

I heard someone on Boston radio saying yesterday that, in his contract year, TR was trying get his numbers in fewer minutes, and as a result jacked up shots at every opportunity. Sounds about right.
