Straight forward question. Does Kyrie stay, or has the situation soured on him and he's ready to jump ship?
Since Durant would seemingly come to Boston only if Kyrie is here, the first thing we need to settle is if Kyrie will remain a Celtic.

Have no idea, think it depends on what KD does. If he stays in GSW or goes to a place that Kyrie doesn't want to go to, then I think he stays, if he goes to one of the NY teams, then I think he may be gone.

My thinking is, we have a better shot at a title with him (and KD or AD, or both, joining him here in Boston).
But maybe the damage is done, and Boston is no longer a rosy place to play in his eyes.

My gut tells me he will choose to leave, but who really knows? If he stays, I think we will see Danny push all the chips into the middle for AD.

And Kyrie talks with AD and AD tells him that he'll resign with us if he's traded here.

And Kyrie talks with AD and AD tells him that he'll resign with us if he's traded here. I’m sure all those conversations have taken place, or will take place soon. It’s a players’ league, and they’re now dictating the landscape of the NBA.

I keep going back and forth and there are good reasons on both side of this. Kyrie said in October that he planned to resign here and then there was the thing where he wanted to be the reason no one else would wear 11. He failed as a leader last season and there is a lot of criticism of him in the media. I can see his ego checking in and making him want to come back just to give him time to prove himself and not leave the impression of him as a failure.
But then, I can see him realizing that he can't lead a team by himself and wanting to team with KD or another star on the Knicks or in LA where he can be a big deal but not have to live up to the bragging that he would be the leader.
And then again, I can see him staying if Danny can swing a trade for AD so, going back to my first thoughts, he can redeem himself in Boston but not have to carry the team or be the big leader.
As to whether I want him back, I really don't know.

I'll say yes, but it's really just a guess at this point. Everyone points the blame at him so that's gotta eat at him a little to come back and prove them all wrong.

I think if Rozier is gone, chances of Kyrie staying go up.

I'd say there's no way they're both here next year. Whatever else happens we've seen that they can't coexist happily.

Yup. That's why I'm rooting for the Kings pick to be [HASH]2. We'd have the option of trading it or drafting Ja Morant.

If AD decides to stay in N.O. to play with Zion, does that mean Kyrie leaves Boston? What is Danny's second option? Stay the course with minor tweaks or look for another trade for an established star to pair with Irving?
