They were on the boards yes, but not at everything else. They were the team that made some shots when they needed them while Kemba and Tatum shot us out of the game. It is a make or miss league and when your two best offensive guys shoot a collective 13-40 from the field, we are not going to win any of those games no matter who we are playing.

Thought Atlanta was going to give Philly their first loss tonight, but the Sixers won by a pair of Embiid free throws.

Embiid acts and talks tough, but he isn’t. But I’m disgusted that Ben Simmons didn’t get fined or suspended for rear choking KAT in the scuffle. More and more, my dislije for these two guys grows.

Ben Simmons injures his shoulder, and will be out for some time. Philly is currently 10th in the league, and though it’s still early in the season, I’m snickering inside. Bet this isn’t what Horford was expecting.

I'm worried they might be a poor regular season team, but if they're healthy they'd be a great playoff team with the bigs/defense/length they have.
However, Simmons still being as bad as he was shooting still gives us and other teams a major weakness to exploit and they got less depth/shooting so it might be a repeat of last year for them.

A guy I know who is a die hard Philly fan told me Sixers’ fans are thinking about trading Ben Simmons. Says Tatum is better cause even if he goes 0 for 18, he still comes out shooting the very next game. They’re getting tired of Ben Simmons shying away from shooting.
Prime example is their loss to TOR tonight. In a game where Embiid can’t score (his first ever scoreless game), as their next star player, Simmons should shoulder the scoring load — but in 41 minutes he takes a meager 8 attempts. Even their deep bench player, Furkan Korkmaz who only played 16 minutes took more shots than Simmons.
Oh, and by the way, they’re getting tired of Horford parking himself out on the perimeter.
I hope this is just the beginning of a season full of didappointments for Philly fans 😁

Going off Belichick's comments recently about the Art of War
Simmons can be great in the regular season but his strengths are limited in a playoff series and his weaknesses are expanded until he can get some semblance of a shot or have other players around him who are great shooters to use his playmaking abilities (ex. Rondo with the big 3).

Phila is a dumpster fire right now. They can not win on the road. Everyone sags off of Simmons, and they have no spacers. Also, they have no closers, and no bench. Horford for what it is worth, is shooting a career low, 44%. Fans think firing Brown will help, however the roster is poorly constructed.
