Well, Brown is a worse coach than Doc.... Stone hands couldn't get that rebound. they never seem to learn. Perk is in now with 13 seconds to go.... If he was in with 5 minutes to go we wouldn't be down right now.

Pierce did all he could to win this game... Ricky had an off game... His shot was off but he did try to hit the open man but since no one else was hitting their shots it didin't help any. Perk played great when he was in and surprise surprise, when Perk was in we made that run and got ahead... Perk goes to the bench Blount comes in and Bulls go on a run.... STUPID coach!!! No excuse for that....
We can't seem to put together two good games where we come out and play tough defense and hustle. The coach says how Perk is going to get more minutes and play more and then he sits.... Stupid stupid stupid.....

Is this Ricky's first 'off game' of the season?

Well--- What was the problem tonight Greeniacs? Young have anything to do with it? I think again the coaching really had a lot to do with it. The refs stunk but our play was worse. Raef wasn't playing well yet they left him in way too long. Perk played well they took him out. Ricky (as much as I love the guy) had an off shooting game but did work hard trying to find the open man and hustling. The biggest reason we lost is because Perk got 17 minutes and Blount got 28. Bulls got 16 offensive rebounds.... Horrible coaching to keep Perk on the bench while we were getting manhandled inside. West, Greene, Reed all made rookie mistakes but that isn't why we lost. Blount and Raef made even more mistakes. We turned the ball over way too many times. We were very sloppy the first half and fairly sloppy the second half but it wasn't the kids, it was the vets. Pierce had 6 turnovers, Blount had 4, Ricky had 3. Our defense was lax at best. We left their shooters open on the perimeter and they burned us. Without Perk in, we didn't get the rebounds and they got way too many offensive rebounds and tip ins. We didn't have anyone who sustained the energy throughout. Part of that was keeping Perk on the bench. He would have brought the spark. PP played his heart out in spite of the 6 turnovers. He really did play hard. He didn't get much help.

Is this Ricky's first 'off game' of the season? He had one other game where he didn't shoot well but he played better all around. Tonight he just couldn't get it going. But he never does play well against Chicago. I think it stems from the 6th man thing and he tries too hard and just comes out too tight.

Just got home, saw the final score. I left my home at halftime, we actually made it a game, but it seems as if we blew it again because we were up by 2, then Blunt turnover, and matador D on BG.
The thing I don't understand. Perk did not play that many minutes. He didn't have that many fouls. Only 1 rebound. They should have played him more. Tough loss.

Perk played very well while he was in there. He only had one official rebound but he tapped the ball out to others at least 4 times that i can remember. He also was in there changing shots and playing defense. He only played 17 minutes but while he was in there, we made the run that put us ahead. Then when he came out, it was no fluke that the Bulls made a run. We gave up 16 offensive rebounds. Blount is useless and Raef wasn't much better tonight. This game was lost because the coaches don't have a clue!!!

Thank you very much for the game updates, FLCFan12. Those who can't catch the games really appreciate it.
We should have won this game. We just took the worst time to lose our composure. I was just watching NBATv and Ainge was doing an interview. I thought for sure that a trade went down and Blount was gone for good. But of course that wasn't the case.

I am shocked at Perkins' rebounding numbers, but I also feel he should have played more. Listening to the game on the internet, the Boston announcers in the fourth quarter commented on how the Bulls were killing us on the glass and getting second chance points, and wondering why Perkins was not in the game. Chandler and Perkins both had just one rebound at the end of the first quarter, as there were not a lot of missed shots between the two teams to open the game, but Skiles did not keep Chandler on the bench for most of the rest of the game. With continued playing time, he obviously got things going off the glass and I can't help wonder if Perkins might not have done the same. Blount had a good game for him with 7 rebounds in 29 minutes, but he does not do a good job of keeping the opposing big men off the offensive glass.
The announcers also mentioned ad infinitum in the fourth quarter that the Celtics had no ball movement; everything was one pass and a shot. They mentioned that the one thing Pierce needs to do is trust that other players on the team can also make plays. Listening to us was like listening to the Lakers, where Kobe does all the scoring and the team still loses.
I am bitterly disappointed with this loss. We were up seven with five minutes left, and reverted to giving up second chance points and having no ball movement on offense. Our glaring flaws are able to be corrected, but we never last more than one game without reverting back to our putrid bad habbits.
