I don't have a link to anything but I heard in something brief I dunno if it was from a kings fan or sportscenter or not but I heard Sacramentio might want Antoine seeing they could be in near rebuilding mode with the exception of Brad Miller and Peja. Anybody hear this? Who knows if a s&t will be worked out.

for some reason unless we can get a great sign and trade offer from sac , I think if antoine will accept the role and the money ,it is possible they could bring him back to teach the young guys. I still think he could be a positive force, make PP happy, and he can rebound(something we didnt adress )I am not saying I totally agree with this but it is possible

Before letting AW just walk away, worth giong through the steps of looking at who is likely to be available who DA would want to bring in to be a good influence on the kids and to play.

Exactly. Just explore all options. The same thign goes if WAlker is better than anyone we can bring in we keep him which i still think is the most likely scenario. Plus he can mentor Big Al to shoot the 3 while he is here.

Plus he can mentor Big Al to shoot the 3 while he is here. The two things I don't want. Walker as mentor and Al jacking up 3s...

I'm more interested in keeping AW than some of you are. The main reason is that the power in Boston has changed.
With Wallace as GM, and Obie as coach---with his 3-point oriented offense---there was no one to demand that AW learn to play a low-post game
Strangely, the closest he got to getting that kind of coaching was when ML Carr used him at the 5 his rookie year. (Not sure he got coaching, but at least had the chance to play there).
I could see some conversations which eventually became a 3-way---DA-AW-Doc---which laid out how they would expect AW to play. Pitino sort of encouraged it. But he didn't demand it, and make that a precondition to his big contract.
Whether DA offered him the mid-level, or something beyond that, he would tell him that he is to prepare h imself mentally and physically to play the low-post and, among other things, even increase his rebounding.
"My way or hte highway."
I think that one of the hangups will be that AW (or his agent) was talking about a one-time contract which would carry him through the rest of his career. DA ain't about to do that. Of course, under the new CBA, 6 years is the maximum.

Seeing theres more pfs to go after, its a no brainer that Danny will s&t walker if a team comes along who wants him or let him go and sign a donyell marshall type seeing Vill is there now and they'll be overloaded with pf's.

Its not good to chance playing Al J outside there but chances are, he could make more than Walker. Hey wanna hear a story, I heard Big Ben in practice makes his threes. Walker may not even make all his threes in practice.

If Walker plays the post, and rebounds, I am all for signing him to a reasonable, short-term (2-3 years) contract. However, if Walker stays outside the arc, and hosts ill-advised, or shots not w/in the offense, then we can let him walk. No pun intended. ;D
