Before Danny Ainge? 1) Figure Leader 2) Drfft choices 3) FAs 4) Coaches
Before Doc Rivers? 1) Somebody's friend (had to be) 2) Coaches (are there more than 5?) 3) A system built for kids?
The Celts are young. Live with it.

Eggsactly. This isn't a championship team. Hell, its not even a 50 win team, regardless of who the coach is.

Maybe not but the team is taking a step backwards this year, which there is no excuse for. It's not like a major player retired or got injured. The team should be way better than it is and that has a lot to do with things like coaches.

Actually we lost Walker and Payton. Hate em' or love em' they helped us win games last year and added experience and stabilty to the point guard and power forward position.

It might be taking one step back, to gain two steps forward. We need to let the kids play and learn more on the court. The thing I would like to see Doc do first... Let the young guys play even when they make a mistake or two. Enough of this 20+ minutes one game, then 5 or a DNP the next. Be more consistant Doc. About time to round out a rotation. Ok, round one out by Christmas. That might be a nice gift to the team and all of us fans.

Missing Marcus Banks and Tony Allen out of the rotation is hurting us more than you know.
Mark Blount just doesn't fit in no matter what he does. He might be a better fit in a San Antonio uniform for all we know.
The thing I don't want to see is Pierce, RD, Raef and Delonte West pound the floor for 40 minutes a night in an effort to compete for a .500 record and an outside shot at a playoff spot. That is a sure fire way to remain mediocre.

45-50 wins and out in the first round are not my goals for the season. Yes, this maybe a tough year, but hopefully our rookies will ge the time to improve, and our pick will be high.
