IT with some pointed words

Isaiah doesn't come right out and name names, but if you read between the lines, it sounds like he's talking about Bradley. Avery is the only guy I know who is getting more responsibility on the offensive end compared to last year (I think Jae is right around where he was).

Anyways, IT is pretty worked up about the way we've been losing, and I think that's great! He's got higher standards for this team.

I think he's talking about Smart myself and to a lesser extent Rozier. Possibly Jaylen and maybe even sorta trying to make a statement towards the culture towards Horford.

Possibly Smart, though not Rozier (since he didn't really have a real role last year).

Do you think Smart has been playing sub par on defense? Basically, IT is calling out how we've been playing defensively.

I kind of thought it wasn't so much defense he was calling out but the attempt at increased offense (leading to bad defense). I feel like he's saying "leave the offense to me." I feel like it's easier for him to pick on Smart and guys like that than Avery who was playing lights out AND leading the team in rebounding.

I agree that they need to pick up their defensive intensity. That's what set them apart last season. They were top 5 defense last season but now they are bottom 5 in defense. It can't be Sully and Turner missing because they weren't that crucial to the defense and Horford is much better than Sully anyway.

We still have the same individually good defenders so now they have to put it together to get the team defense back to the top. Defense wins games.
