If Brooklyn's season is playing out like we Celtics fans hope it does, and it appears highly likely we'll be drafting in the top 5, with a really good chance of winning the top pick, would that influence what we do at the trade deadline?
This draft will be top heavy with guards, as guys like Fultz, Smith Jr, and Ball are projected to go high.
Will the possibility of grabbing one of them open up the door for us to trade Rozier if a team comes asking for him?

I think Rozier is becoming a nice player, but is available for trade in any case, if the right player were offered. What we have now is a lot of nice players but no one who has "Top 5 in the NBA potential" - with the possible exception of Jaylen, and it's way to early to project that. If we have the chance to package 2 or 3, or even 4 such players, and get one truly extraordinary player in return, I think we have to consider it strongly. Rozier is a guy I really like, but he's another talented small guard on a team with several of them.

Having a hard time following the logic .. 1.We have a ton of guards. 2.We need a big man. 3. Let's pump the brakes here on rozier.. Now teams are calling about him and willing to give up what? 4.Maybe if those top 5 are studs. And Jersey is going to be so bad that we get there.. We should be discussing trading Thomas..
