2 things we are missing

We finally got our players back and have been doing better. But in spite of this, I feel we are missing 2 essential things:

- an impact big man off the bench
- a big scorer off the bench

Our starting 5 is a really solid unit, but Amir leaves some things to be desired. We need a guy who can come in for him and have an impact defensively (such as blocking shots, or rebounding, or just having a big body that clogs the lanes). Neither Olynyk nor Zeller offer us these things, and it hurts us.

Teams score too easily against us in the paint.

Secondly, we're missing a big time scoring threat off the bench. Smart and Rozier have been solid, and even Jerebko and Olynyk have chipped in. But we have no go to scorer who teams have to gameplan for.

These are the two things I believe will legitimately put us up there with Toronto.

Our goal should be first in the league..To do that we need those 2 plus a veteran point guard

I think we need to give Smart & Rozier a chance to further develop and better themselves. Smart has improved significantly from the 3 point line and lets not forget that Bradley was at one point in a similar situation as Smart. Genuinely think Smart has it in him to be better than Bradley by far. Just need abit of time and development.

Still think that Amir is our biggest weakness..not enough of a paint enforcer. I'm still interested to see how Willey Cauley Stein could fit with us..

Amir is a bench player.. Not a starter.. Management failed this team by not adding a new big man..

I don't know smart is that good.. hope so

Wonder what it would cost to get Rudy Gay?

As a starter, he has a questionable record of being a positive contributor.

But I would like to see what he can do as a bench scorer? Can he be a 6th man? I think he can.

I posted about him, month or so.. Danny tried to get him awhile back. Honestly I think that they would be much better with a stud at the 5.. And a point guard.. They can score...
