In game adjustments. Every loss, some player scorches BOS and there is not an action plan to change that.

I am saying I would have made Whiteside a priority and would have signed him vs horford. I would have been very aggressive about trading for a stud rebounder.. It's just dumb to lose your best rebounder,a key defensive player and not replace what they did! Those 2 were a solid part of a lot of our wins and we did NOTHING TO replenish the team . Ok...whose a stud rebounder we would trade for? And whats the realistic trade for him? A stud implies he is valuable..so who do we give up from our current roster or draft picks? Also Whiteside..again this is just more than throwing names out there. There is the financial side of the sport as well. The Heat owned his early bird rights so they could offer him more than anyone else could and the Heat also had the luxury of having ridiculous amounts of cap space with Deng and Wade gone. So if this was a game of pure salary, we'd lose. Not to mention the tax rates in Boston versus no income tax in Miami...for a guy who was on a minimum contract before, I don't blame him for taking the best deal financially and either way you look at it...he comes out millions richer in Miami.

Whiteside signed before wade left lol. I don't know what you don't understand, but I will make it clear.. We didn't try to pursue Whiteside.. We did make a laughable attempt to go after Durant..
This team desperately needs a stud rebounder and rim protector.. Danny has proven he is pretty good at drafting and trading for combo guards and slashing small forwards..
It is HIS job to find what we need..
SO SORRY AMIGO FANTASY BASKETBALL DOESN'T AMUSE ME!!!!! NOT INTO PROPOSING TRADES ETC.. I HAVE A ACTUAL LIFE! LOL

LOL Given that we've reached an impasse, I'll leave it at that whilst stating that I respect your opinion of the team's perceived weakness/es but my stance firmly remains the same - which is that its far too early to make that sort of call given the 1st unit hasnt had a chance to play multiple meaningful games together yet.

We both want the same thing, we want our Celtic s to prosper.. I guess we differ in the process it will take to get there.. I love rebounding and defense. I appreciate skill players but hate the softness this team has displayed.. Ya not my words.. The coach.. I am glad he is addressing it..

As Smart said, the team came out playing cool, while teams are coming out hard against us.
The last 2 years, we came out playing extremely hard with a chip on our shoulders because we had something to prove.
But with everyone saying we are an upper echelon team in the east, and how we are predicted to win 50+ games, guys on the team might have thought we'd cake walk through the season, and that the playoffs is an automatic.
I think we'll see a change in our mentality and how we play.

This. Whiteside was not coming here. Never in a million years. There is no way he's leaving a team that he's comfortable in one of the most beautiful cities in Amarica to come to a slighly above average basketball team in the northeast, especially when you factor he'd have to leave millions of dollars on the table.

Durant wasn't coming here either lol.. You don't know until you try. He signed a team friendly contract?

Durant seriously did consider us. Even he said so (but he won't tell Bill Simmons how close he was to coming to Boston).

Tonight, Porter torched BOS. Stevens is playing percentages, versus a low percentage player, but still?

Durant wasn't coming here either lol.. You don't know until you try. He signed a team friendly contract? He signed for the max that any team could offer. 4 years/96 million. with their tax breaks he'd save about 8 million a year choosing Miami over boston. No way he gives that up to come here.

My bad lol.. Durant was polite but there was no way he was coming to a slightly above average team when he could be a part of the dream team

In game adjustments. Every loss, some player scorches BOS and there is not an action plan to change that. Maybe there wasn't much he could do being short-handed? Or the players just weren't responding?

Lack of rebounding fundamentals. Example - one play from the previous game versus WAS where 5 BOS players surrounding Beal, and somehow Beal got the rebound while on his back on the floor.
