Like you said, 1 game.
We are not going to be in midseason form yet.
And keep in mind we are incorporating new players in the 2nd unit (Rozier, Green, Jaylen). We minus'd out Evan Turner, and do not have Marcus and Olynyk.
And lastly, yes, it was an implosion. The 2nd unit couldn't get it done. But I'm sure there will not be many games where Brad takes out the starters and lets the 2nd unit finish games.

So 2 games and they did a good job on shooting percent age..but got way out rebounded and lost by 5.. defense is predicated on rebounding.

They have too many very good defensive players for this team not to have a very good defense. But, give them time to all get on the same page. Missing Marcus Smart is a pretty big deal for the defense. I think the defense will tighten up and be what we expected going into the season. Like I said, they have too many good individual defenders for it not to.

Yeah, its been said that Marcus sets the tone on defense (he and Jae). Missing him, his voice, his energy, his presence, etc. We'll feel the difference (to an extent) when he comes back.
