Is this like the first few games when Lebron joined the Heat and they dropped one or two games to start the season but quickly pulled themselves together? Or do the Warriors have a flaw that the Spurs clearly exploited? Are the Warriors just too top heavy with no real depth on their bench?
And speaking of benches, who is Jonathan Simmons from the Spurs?? He sure came out of nowhere and instantly reminded me of Hassan Whiteside...D-Leaguer and possibly a late bloomer who shows up determined to outshine rookies with a chip on his shoulder as large as the entire continent of Russia... I sure wish him all the best and hope he can sustain his performances. Makes me wonder if there are any other such players just waiting for an opportunity which we're missing by sticking to guys like James Young who can't seem to get any better or make the effort.
