With 12 days, and 3 games left to go before the regular season starts, it's time for us to pencil in our prediction for wins and losses.
My prediction for the year is:
Derren:
55 - 27
I say we're the [HASH]2 seed, and we end the season losing game 7 of the ECF to CLE (the last year we lose to them).
FL:
54 - 28
[HASH]2 seed, lose to Cavs in the ECF.

We are the [HASH]2 seed
Celtics either lose the ECF to the Cavs at full strength or win the ECF if LeBron or Irving or both are at less than 100%
I'd love to say that they beat the Warriors in the Finals but I think that's too lofty of a dream.

I'll go high. When Horford signed, I figured he was good for an additional 5 wins, getting us to 53. I am seeing more out of Rozier and Brown than I expected, Jerebko looked really good the other night, and so did Mickey, so I'll add 3 more wins. 56-26. We win the Atlantic, get the [HASH]2 seed and lose to the Cavs in the ECF. If Smart really has improved his shot (too early to tell) and Brown and Rozier progress rapidly, they will push the Cavs, but ultimately I think we still need more.
