All the world knows that the Boston Celtics are going to be the powerhouse in the East, once Lebron steps off his throne due to old age. Maybe in about 2 years, as our young guys become established veterans, and as the King shows that he is human and is susceptible to the effects of age, we unseat them and move atop the East.
I'm getting the feeling that we won't be alone up there. There's a nagging sense that the Pacers are going to be elbowing us for their space at the top too.
Larry Bird has assembled himself a roster that looks to be just as formidable as the one Ainge has put together.
Look at the established players they have: Paul George Al Jefferson Monta Ellis Jeff Teague Rodney Stuckey Thaddeus Young Aaron Brooks
And then here are their young players, who they'll mix in: Myles Turner Glenn Robinson III Joe Young Georges Niang
It's going to be a battle.

I wouldn't typically say this but I think our defense can beat a team like this.

Yeah, I think our defense this year might be legit #1 or 2 in the NBA.

I agree that the Celtics have better defensive players but, the Pacers do look like they are going to be very good.

The Pacers are primed to be a tough team, now and in the future.
Myles Turner could emerge as one of the better 2 way Centers in the NBA.

No. Indiana is like PG & the gang. Believe it or not, I think PHI will be the future nemesis (if the process ever works out).

That's a big if.. But I do agree that Philly has so much talent.. Not sure they have the coaching or general manager though.. No one has that much depth at the forward position.. I would use that.. Rotate them with fresh legs and wear teams down

He sure is looking like one oldtimeball. He is just 19 and has bulked up and doesn't shy from contact and is not shy about attacking the basket. He is 6'11" with a 7'3" wing span. Here's what Dino Radja had to say about him "He's a guy who never stops; he doesn't have a second of time out. He's always active; he's always on the ball. He might not grab every rebound, but he's always there. He's running very well, he can pass, he can play with his back to the basket and shoot from close range."
He sure looks like he's shaping up to be a beast.

He sure looks like he's shaving brush up to be a beast. Shaving brush?))))) I understand. I read that also. Just was being cynical.. Seriously would have been nice to have him on this team.. I guess it's still possible due to wording in his contract..
