It's not often you have a great leader on your team -- someone who can genuinely lead by words and by example, who gets teammates to buy into hard work and hustle, and does so by leading the charge with hard work and hustle.
We have 2 of these leaders -- Jae Crowder and Marcus Smart. They do a lot of barking, but they also back it up with their ferocity on the court, in practices and in games.
They are probably not going to let anyone on the team lollygag and give less than a 100% effort, even in practices.
And maybe the best part is they especially demand great effort on the defensive end. This is why we have the makings of a great defensive team -- because our leaders are the very ones who are pouring forth blood, sweat and tears on that end of the court.

Jae definitely is a great example of what hard work and the right attitude can do for a player not born with elite athleticism.
Going along with the lunch pail mentality, Terry Rozier is also being commended for his hard work and dedication. Brad Stevens praises him for it.
Can't forget Avery Bradley either.
We have so many young players who are self starters and self motivated. They don't need to be told to try hard.
