Today is media day and tomorrow training camp begins!! Woo hoo! Almost time for Celtics basketball! They will be filiming live from Media Day and streaming it live on Celtics.com starting at 2:30 Eastern time.

I read something today where Brad said they would go 40% at today's practice but everyone was so excited to get back at it, they were closer to 100% I really can't wait to watch them.

I was especially interested to hear what Gerald Green had to say. When he left the Celtics the first time he was an air headed kid who thought he knew more than the coach and who thought that dunking and athleticism was enough to get him by.
But after bouncing around including a couple of years in Russia, Gerald has definitely grown up! He sounded a lot more mature. They asked him if he'd be participating in the slam dunk contest and he said something to the effect that he wants to win a ring and help his team and spending a lot of time working on fancy dunks won't get that done. I think he's grown up!

I'm gonna say this a lot early on, but how flipping cool is it that Al Horford is gonna be a Celtic this season?

I so agree fresh!!! During last year's playoffs, I said that of all the upcoming free agents I wanted Al Horford on the Celtics. He just seems like such a perfect fit! It is very cool that he is now a Celtic!!
