There are reports Gay is unhappy ..I know Danny really liked his game at one time. Would he be worth a look and how much do you think we would have to give up in trade?

If you could get him for next to nothing, go for it. But he's already 30, and he's not that great. But if we could get him for some expirings and first, go for it. though i think he may go for more than that. And since we already have a solid SF, i don't think we're the right fit.

He is a career 18.0, point per game proven scorer. 19.0, in playoffs.. He has a reasonable contract is only 30...,But where would we play him. ? We have a very good 3.. Can he play the 2?

If he's willing to take a pay cut and a lesser role, than yeah, I bet Brad Stevens can do something with him. I mean, coach made me start cheering for Evan Turner, which was something I never thought I'd do.

Gay is making 13.3 million this year and 14.2 million next year. We already have a very good SF in Jay Crowder. I'm not so sure I'd go for him. If he came in with a package for DeMarcus Cousins maybe. But I don't think he's an upgrade over Crowder when you consider the defense that Crowder brings and that Gay doesn't.

Yes and we have jaylen also.. If gay could play the 2..,It might be something to pursue.. He would be a very expensive bench player.. But sometimes you accumulate talent and let the playing time issues work themselves out

IMO we should avoid Gay like the plague. He is selfish and one-dimensional. The Raptors are a good example - their rise in the east did not begin until they traded him. He may score points but he loses games.

There are players like that. Antone walker was one. If you look at their stats and see that they scored 20 a game but took 20 shots to do it: that's a telling sign..I don't think that's a accurate assessment of gay.. Never heard that before..I think its like adding 1+1 equals three. Rudy gay leaves and Toronto blossoms.. Toronto finally made some smart moves after losing a valuable player.. They haven't always made the best choices.. But they signed sully lol.. That's one that I think we messed up.
