I like Kevin martins size.. Good shooter.. Should be able to be a decent second unit option.
Ty Lawson.. Could he blossom here like Evan did? He has shown glimpses of potential. Surely these two are better short term answers to the hopefuls such as that kid Ainge just signed?
What's the real plan Danny? To remain flexible like the fat girl at the prom hoping her prince comes along? Or should we really try to put our best team out there this year and hope for a home run in the draft and a free agent? Who we chasing after next summer? Steph curry?

Guys like Marcus Georges-Hunt are signed to completely unguaranteed deals where they pretty much know they're only there for the pre-season. Guys like Martin and Lawson aren't going to sign deals like that. It doesn't make any sense for them to do so. They may as well just stay at home with their families (or in Lawson's case, get his substance abuse issues in check), stay in shape, and hope that a team riddled with injuries calls them and wants to pay them for their services.

Fresh I didn't mean to imply that both could be signed dirt cheap.. What do you think is a fair price and any interest?

Good question. I doubt Martin would play for less than 3 mill a season, but that's just a guess. I'm guessing for league he'd only play for league minimum if one of the big teams (GS, SA, Cleveland) offered him a role. Dude is older and has made a ton of money. He can be picky. And living in Fargo i see a ton of wolves games, and IMO he is toast. I'd rather role with Ray Allen at this point.
Lawson is a good question. He's young enough that you know he has to be jonesing to get his career back on track. but with him, who knows if a team like the C's wants a guy like him that has the potential to be a distraction? i'm guessing he'll go to a team that has a lot of veterans on it. Im guessing at this point he'd be willing to play for league minimum if he had a shot at playing time.

Brad Stevens should be able to handle Lawson.. They mentioned trading for someone troubled.. Why not pick him up as a bridge on a 2 yr contract like we did with Evan.
