He has agreed to a deal in principal.. If he doesn't sign it can he be traded to us now? Made me think that he and Durant are going to reunite in okc? But then I hoped foolishly that fireworks were coming our way.. If he signs.. He has to wait until DEC?..,if he is signed and we have to give up draft picks, but no roster player.. I say do it..

I am beginning to see okc as wanting to do that trade in DEC.. So season tickets sell.. Lol..

Russell Westbrook signed a contract extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, ending speculation that has run rampant since Kevin Durant departed for the Golden State Warriors.

The team did not disclose terms of the deal, but sources told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Chris Broussard that the new contract is potentially worth $85.7 million over the next three seasons. The deal includes a player option that would allow Westbrook to still become a free agent after the 2017-18 season.

OKC has some great fans and they really love their team. It's a great atmosphere to play in out there. And after every away playoff game when the team returns to OKC, there are always hundreds of fans waiting at the airport to welcome them home. I'm happy for the OKC fans that Westbrook is returning. Durant did them wrong by going to the team that just beat them in the WCF. I know how I felt about Ray Allen going to our biggest rival at the time. Not a good feeling.

I see no way Durant comes to Boston.. Sad for us.. Okc will be a free agent destination ... Sigh
