Bed time? What grown man sleeps at 8pm? Oh yeah, now that I'm a papa, I get sleepy around this time.

Smart move not to extend Olynyk right now. Based on the players we've drafted and went after, Ainge and Brad are going after players who are offensive and defensive, and also tough physically. Kelly will need to be a big factor behind the arc this season and earn a bigger payday from us as a free agent. This guy isn't a rebounder, even though I heard he's supposed to have positive defensive impact, I just don't see it. Team defense perhaps? He always seemed slow and soft in individual one on one with Bigs.. What bothers me is that mediocre Bigs find a way to have career nights against us.. We have to shore up the defense ... That will help our offense get easy fast break bucket's..

Not extending Kelly also sets up a battle for that spot next season with Bentil, Yabusele and Zizic as the newcomers and Mickey, Johnson and Jerebko looking to come back. In order to win that spot next season, they will need to show they deserve it. Competition is always good to bring out the best in players.

I think that KO and Smart will be the barometer of how well the team does this year. If they can improve their offensive efficiency we will be tough to beat. KO will have both of his arms working, that can't hurt. Hopefully the battle next year is for 4th big. More structure in the offense will help both players but it will slow down IT and probably reduce his scoring. To me it's a good trade-off, as I don't like drive-and-dish as a system - save it for occasional use at key moments. I like Smart as a starter, lead with defense and structure, then bring IT off the bench to shake things up.

I like Isaiah off the bench also. But I am not sure I have faith in Marcus as a general.. (Sherman..).. I wonder if the reason Demetrius was given a bigger deal is Danny is planning on trading Marcus..
