I want to keep him too. If the C's don't really see him getting minutes this year, and tell him that, maybe it makes the prospect of PLAYING in Portland, working on his game and improving, more attractive to him.

Or it could be that he's angling for us to release him so that he can hopefully latch onto another team who can keep him in the NBA. I wouldn't fault him for this, but I sure would like to keep him.

Nader is probably the new Ryan Gomes. Ryan Gomes was a fine NBA player. But he had no place on a contender. Or if he did certainly he didn't on a contender with as many assets and stashes as us. As we become a better team we won't be holding onto to these kinds of players. Don't get attached to these guys. He was the 3rd best player at Iowa State.

Tell me how Zeller is worth more than Nader.. The issue I have is that poor planning is going on... You pay slugs 8 mil year and a talented young player expect to take your terms so he can be stashed.. it's crazy!
