Was thinking that if Durant's dream team is as good as everyone says we might get a bunch of guys who want to come east to avoid them in the first rounds of the playoffs. Is Cleveland improved that much? Wouldn't it be easier to get past them and go to the finals?

What I'm hoping is that things don't work out in GS and Durant hits the FA market again next year. There will be less teams with monster cap room next year, which improves our chances of getting a superstar via free agency.

I'd rather face Cleveland but at the end of the day, you don't win a ring by beating Cleveland. You still have to face that 4 headed monster in the Finals. Whats the point in making the Finals if you don't win a ring. It'll just be like every team that tried to beat Jordan during his prime reign..like the Jazz..never being able to get over the hump. Competitive balance is severely needed and that isn't happening right now.

Making the finals is definitely more sexy than not.. Winning it the first time there doesn't always happen either. A visit there should create hunger..
I am hoping that free agents want to come here... Not sure I want to just throw in the towel to GS.. lol

Making the finals is definitely more sexy than not.. Winning it the first time there doesn't always happen either. A visit there should create hunger.. I am hoping that free agents want to come here... Not sure I want to just throw in the towel to GS.. lol you'd think it would create hunger but OKC made it there once then came so close to winning the conference finals..yet Durant jumped ship for the easy route. |

Horford cane here to get max money and be the stud in the front court. no mislap in Boston? Hopefully we will be able to attract free agents but there is going to be a frenzy with all that money available. |
