Semih Erden ready to make an NBA comeback

Semih Erden is currently in the USA trying to make a comeback to the world of the NBA. The Turkish center who last played with Darus safaka Dogus is now a free agent and he examines his options in order to return to the best league in the world.

The 29-year old player has already arrived in Las Vegas where the summer league is held, accompanied by his agent Tolga Tuksavul. They will have meetings with five NBA clubs and Eurohoops sources can confirm that the Boston Celtics is one of them.

The Celtics was also the team which drafted Semih Erden back in 2008 and then initiated him in the NBA in 2010.

I haven't heard anything about how he has been playing in Europe but if he's improved since last playing with the Celtics, he may be a possibility.

I vaguely remember kinda liking him. Curious what he's turned into.

I don't know why he didn't stick in his previous go-around with us. I thought he looked at least adequate. I liked him better than Ryan Hollins, Patrick O'Bryant and Greg Stiemsa.

Good height, fluidity. Could do a little bit of rebounding, shot blocking and scoring, but not great at any of them.
