Free agent pool might be lacking shooters, but trades are a possibility.
Wonder who Ainge is targetting?

Martin would help a bit, even in his old age. He was never about athleticism, never relied upon it.

He's only 30? But could be cheap? Who do you like?

I would want Doug McDermott from Chicago. He's a multi skilled player who is an excellent shooter.

Oh, man, I really don't like Jr Smith. But he is a big time perimeter threat when he's on his good streaks. Question about him is can Brad Stevens reel him in? He can really disrupt an offense if given the leeway to
McDermott came out the same year as Marcus Smart. So he'll be a RFA next season I believe. But if CHI is listening to offers, maybe a future 1st round (our own pick) and a second.

I don't like JR Smith and he wouldn't fit with the Celtics culture. I saw a rumor today about Danny making a trade for Rudy Gay. But I'm not so sure about him because it seems as though teams he leaves always do better after he's gone.

Everyone is staying away from j.r... Didn't Danny covet Rudy gay years ago.?
There has to be someone who is off our radar that is on Danny's. I think we need to keep our cap flexibility unless it's a bona fide super star.
it's difficult because some of the players we have I don't want to lose. that's why we lost out because free agency was our chance to grab two.

I would trade Bradley for JJ Redick or JR Smith

Bradley is a better all around player than Reddick, and he's statistically a decent shooter. Replacing Bradley with Reddick may improve our shooting a few percentages, but it weakens our defense considerably.

And just say no to JR Smith I don't think he would fit with the chemistry this team has. He's kind of a loose cannon.

I'm thinking that the Celtics may try to get Hayward. He is a Brad Stevens guy and if he lets them know that he plans to opt out at the end of the year and then leave in free agency they may look to trade him rather than wait and get nothing for him. Danny may say we will trade for him now but maybe not later if we find someone else and they may get it done. That's just my thinking and I did hear them mention it on CSN

True but I wouldn't trade unless it's a sign and trade. And you want to win now.
Trading up costs especially when the up player doesn't play well.
We need to add. Not subtract.. And who are we going to hoodwink into taking our junk for their gold?
