All of the rumors has him trying to make a trade. It looks like Butler is out with Wade signing in Chicago. Maybe Cousins, maybe someone else. Who knows what he's working on. I'm all for staying the course and giving the young guys some experience and see what we have in them. Do a 1+1 with a couple of players and who knows, maybe under Brad we might find a diamond in the rough - kind of like Turner.

We were never going to be players for free agents, due to our crowded roster.
Ainge is working the trade route.
Who he's targeting is anyone's guess. But he does sometimes make a trade for a player we had no clue he was trying to get.

A wise man uses all his choices. Danny is good about evaluation of guard play. I don't feel he appreciates or evaluates bigs that well.
My belief is putting all our eggs in waiting for the kids to develop basket is a colossal mistake.

I don't see a free agent out there that would fill any of our needs. But there are lots of trade rumors. Cousins and Okafor are at the forefront of those rumors. Philly has to get rid of one of their bigs. Most think it will be Okafor, but it could be Noel also. Cousins rumors have been out there forever so who knows. And also saw some Gordon Hawyward rumors yesterday.

My belief is putting all our eggs in waiting for the kids to develop basket is a colossal mistake. Waiting for them to develop might be a big mistake if it was the only strategy. But I think we need to consider that next off season will be a big one for free agents. Durant could be available again and there are a lot of top free agents who could be out there. Danny doesn't need to do anything right now. He should be patient and keep his flexibility and cap space for next season. In the meantime we watch our young players and see who has potential and who doesn't. I agree we shouldn't discount anything but look at all options but if no good options present themselves this off season, don't give up flexibility but stay the course and go after free agents again next season. I just don't want to give up too much of the core to try to make a trade this season.

One very possible crumb at this point is Sully. If teams aren't trying to sign him he may have to come back for not a lot of money. Then he has a major prove it year and if he actually does prove it we have his bird rights. So you never know. This may be a humbling event for Sully

Torn between if I want Sully back or not. No doubt he has talent rebounding the ball, and he can do some damage with the ball. But he's struggled to get into top physical shape, and jis conditioning is lacking. Not to mention his attitude is somewhat selfish.
Plus, his 3 pt shooting is terrible.
With guys like Bentil and Yabusele waiting in the wings, maybe we can afford to move on from Sullinger.
But again, can we afford to lose a solid rebounder?

C's have withdrawn their qualifying offer for Sullinger. Too bad he could never get in shape. Time to give someone else a chance.

Plus, as he gets older, with his heavy weight and bulky midsection, his back problem (which caused him to drop in the draft) is only going to be a greater potential problem and risk.

We cannot afford to lose a rebounder!Since had better have something better. Is David West a free agent?

Charles Barkley was not really svelte lol. Round mound of rebound. Sullinger had skills. Not much left out there. Losing faith.. Jordan Mickey doesn't inspire confidence in me.
