It's said that a reason Horford didn't want to return to ATL was because they picked up Dwight Howard. Horford didn't want to play alongside him, for whatever reason.
Do you guys think Horford would want to play alongside of DeMarcus Cousins? I'm hearing some Celtics fans say we ought to trade for Cousins.
P.S. And just so you know, Cousins' contract expires next summer, and he's only making 16.8 mil, which is cheap in today's market.
We could take on his contract and still have money left over for another quality player.

He didn't like Howard because he doesn't care about winning and brings a lot of drama. But who knows if he would want to play with a head case like Cousins. We know we can afford him, but does he fit with the team? We also don't want to blow the chemistry we have either.

With Cousins I keep coming back to how dysfunctional the Kings have been. Rondo said it was terrible. He and Cousins got along fine though so it wasn't Cousins causing the trouble. That's the only organization that Cousins has known. Perhaps getting him in a settled and stable environment with good teammates and a head coach like Stevens who is so even and calm would do him a world of good and maybe he wouldn't be such a headcase.

If we can get the player without the drama and Al doesn't mind it, I am all for it. He's the best center in the league and would be great to have against the soft teams like the Warriors.
