Isaiah Thomas is recruiting his friend, Jamal Crawford, who is a free agent that the Clippers are trying to re-sign.
This is what he tweeted:
@jcrossover might as well come to Boston my brotha lol. I know we would take you!
I'm sure IT wouldn't have tweeted the last part, unless he knew that Ainge wants him.

also read that crawford is being recruited by the cavs. we'll just have to see what comes of this. crawford is good insurance as a 3pt shooter if bradley is out for any period of time.

I would really like to have him as our 6th man as his 3 point shooting is just what we need.

I read that the Clippers made him a low ball offer and he felt disrespected because they offered bigger deals to Rivers and Johnson. He would be a nice guy off the bench. You have to love Isaiah. He's our best good will ambassador. I remember Isaiah talking about talking to Horford about coming to Boston back in the All Star break.

He's 34 and his numbers aren't really all that great. I'd rather let our young guys develop and save the money.

On the one hand, Crawford is a proven instant scorer off the bench, that probably no young guy on our bench can match. This is big to have in the playoffs. But on the other hand, I like our young guys and want them to develop. I think Rozier will take a big step forward this year and be a sparkplug for us. Maybe RJ Hunter gets his 3pt stroke to work.

Per Wojo he reportedly signed with the Sixers along with Rondo.

Wow, the Sixers have pulled up their sleeves and are hard at work.

Wow, the Sixers have pulled up their sleeves and are hard at work. I haven't seen it anywhere else, but on WoJo's Twitter,so I am skeptical. The reason I am skeptical is that he stated that Durant plans on signing a 2 year 56 million contract with the Celtics per league sources. I would think that all of these would be confirmed by the major news outlets by now if it was true.

I actually like that the 76ers are going to be better this year. More losses for the Nets.

And Woj had a rare miss yesterday when he reported that it looked like we weren't going to get Horford -- only to see Horford choose us. So he says Durant is signing with us? Well, I guess I won't get excited until its official.

I actually like that the 76ers are going to be better this year. More losses for the Nets. Right. Rajon was being chased down by the Nets, as was Crawford. They would've brought a couple of wins, at least. I don't mind Philly improving, as long as the Nets stay where they are (which is in the pits).

How sweet would it be to get the #1 picks in the next two drafts if we get KD too? I didn't realize until yesterday just how good of a position we are in to offer these guys an extended career at a championship level as someone stated on here like what the Spurs are doing for their old big 3. It has to come down to OKC or us and we offer a more stable future. All of the other teams that he interviewed with are over the cap and are paying luxury tax. Which means that all of them will have to get rid of some players to sign him so they won't be the same team (as we will be, or better now with Horford) that they were last year. It makes so much sense for him to come to Boston, but I am trying not to get excited because we don't know all of the factors that he is weighing.

There seems to be some question about whether that was the real Wojnarowski who tweeted KD is coming to Boston.

Brook Lopez single handedly won the Nets quite a few games last year..I hope he gets traded away for a first rounder somewhere. Hes the reason the Nets didnt lose more.
